I'd like to start doing more though. @BrotherJim: I definitely plan to have a dread or two in the force eventually, just not sure how many. @Argent Aquila: I don't really think all drop pods is the most effective use of the dual demi company formation, but I am a fan of the models. @Brother SP: If you look at some of the earlier posts you should get an idea of my process for the white and battle damage. Involves some basecoat and chipping fluid. I'm a big fan of Land Raiders and I believe I am going to incorporate the new Land Raider Spearhead Formation into my army. I'm playing with a couple lists, I may throw one in the Army list section at some point in the near future. For now my 500 point list from the original post is going to hold steady until I free up some cash flow to expand the force. Stay tuned in the next few days for WIP's of the Librarian. Overdrive Posted October 3, 2015 Author Share Posted October 3, 2015 Wow, glad the Librarian is a hit, thank you for the compliments! @Theduke08: The powercables are made with some flexible ones from I believe Dragonforge Miniatures. Much easier to work with than guitar wires, which is another option. @Armond: No vehicles yet, but I've got a Landspeeder prepped and ready for paint. Have to build a base for it first. I finished the Librarian, but am finding it difficult to get some good photo's of it. I've decided to rebase the army on 32 mm bases so I'll get a pic of everything once that's done. In the meantime, I've been working on a Thunderfire Cannon. I bought the model off ebay and it turned out to be a recast. The quality was poor, so wasn't really motivated to go all out on it. The mould was not good for this model, but I really enjoyed painting it. I was planning to add a number of Techmarines to the force, and after painting this I'm sure of it. I could have spent a lifetime trying to fill bubbles/holes so in the end I decided to say eff it and just paint away. Really happy with how both the Marine and Cannon turned out.
