Honda Posted April 22, 2015 Share Posted April 22, 2015 I would have to agree with Firepower. I think the snow mud build up doesn't really line up with what happens on a vehicle traveling in snow. You might consider googling/binging some pics of tanks in winter. That being said, your grey is just brilliant. It doesn't look like snow, it looks like wet cement. I'd do like Honda said and cruise Google galleries for tanks in snow. Here's a good one: http://www.mark-1-tank.net/jpgs/snow-tanks-845b.jpg Just being able to see the cracks between treads (and the brown of the mud therein) would help a lot. As for the guard around the tracks, the interior left side's minimal clinging mess seems way more reasonable and 'realistic' than the thick clumps along the exterior sides. But in both cases, you'd have to pry, pop, and/or scrape off the material rather than simply repaint it. I dunno how much of that you are able/willing to do... Always glad to knock the better painters down a peg...I mean, "help." It'll be a real pain getting the snow out from between the treads though, I imagine.
