This one is really nice approach on the helchicken. He starts to look like something could be done in the good ol' days when Defilers were the only daemon engine in our dex.

I wanted to give my Helldrake arms.  i thought that i would just scratch build them but the drakes original neck was begging me to slice it up:

I cut the neck in half and attached one of the ..gun turrets?... in the middle to give it a bit of an elbow.

Realized that the neck fins only ran along one half of the arm so i throw some quick plasticard fins together.

The neck was hollow so I've been adding some muscle and metal struts.  Trying for a balance of machine and flesh .

I really like the this DA model. I didn't want to make him another sorcerer so he became an Apothecary.  I'd like to transform the DA angel on his leg into a Reaper...we'll see how that goes..

@ Quixus  LOL ya its a bit meat cleaver-ish!  I thought the size might be okay for a Term but, agreed, it might be to big :P

Small update: 

i'm finding i'm always saying "well that guy has a sword i don't want another guy with one." or "But i already made a guy with an Axe." and its stalling my work....along with procrastination LOL 

 

So... I'm going with the "but this guy has a DIFFERENT Axe/sword/Weapon than the other guy"  by customizing more weapons.  

 

Simple start.  a lot/almost all of my Term arms are right hand gun arms.  so i made a simple left one with some G.Knight parts:

Wasn't a huge fan of the shoulder i tried out on one of the Terms so i started to fiddle around with so spare parts I had from other failed projects. Came up with this bad boy and i really enjoy it:

I'm sure some of you are thinking "This guy never finished a model just keeps jumping around"   I prefer working on a few things at once, gives me the change to put a model down if i get hung up on it and try working on something else for a while.  BUT its finally come to the point where i "think" i have enough models to work on and need to start finishing them....after this last one LOL 

 

 

Sooooo.......Small update, i should have taken some before pictures of this tank before i started working on it... hindsight.  What a B**** :P 

This was a friends Rhino who no longer plays.... it was one of his first models...I'll just leave it at that LOL

My thoughts for the Rhino are that i want to make it a "recon/targeting unit".  Drives up ahead, blowing threw anything in its way and gets an accurate lock on a target; either relay information to units on the ground or a ship in space.  Going to try and make it  heavily armoured, prominent dozer blade, sealed in compartment, etc.

Not that BT armies feature them much, but the Targetting Rhino could be a good alternative to the Landspeeder for a Supression Force of Whirlwinds, if your meta would accept it?  Might last longer than the Landspeeder too.

I was blown away by KrautScientist's Demon Angron and the wounded Models on his base, so for the Heldrake base i wanted to do something with wounded Marines.  

 

The "feels" for it will be that the NL Claw is being torn apart by heavy fire and is completely surrounded.  Only two members of the squad are left and they call for areal support to try and hold their position.

Terminators,  some of these boys have been kicking around for a while...my issue was i just keep adding to them or thinking they needed more.  A lot of "what if i did this or that or this." Finally got to the point where i had to tell myself to please be quiet.  i see a lot of really good work out in the "void" and i kept thinking i needed to do better.  While that is a great push to find and develop skills, one needs to also remember that you've done what you think is best; be proud of your work.  (Cheese over :P)

 

One of my favorites, while again the mask needs work, i really love his pose and the "bunny ears".

Might have got a little carried away with this guy.  At first i thought the guards man was a great addition.  Then i started to second guess it.  In the end i went with it, learned a lot about "perspective" with regards to how much of the claws would be inside of the guy etc. Don't think i ace'd it but i'm happy with him!
