Ah I finally see your blog here Haelim and gotta say it's pretty awesome. Your GS skills are top notch, wish I could do what you've done on these minis. Really love your three finished termis! The last one though I think his claws are too long, I know you wanted them to stick out of the guy but it makes them look overly long. Might be too realistic of me but just my two skulls.

lol you should have seen when i first started that guy.  i cut the claw and was just going to attached what i cut to the other side...then realised..."what part would be inside the Guardsman???"

Like an igit.. I base coated a lot of my models thinking I would build them as is.. After lurking on B&C for a while I came to the conclusion that that just wouldn't do! then decided ooo i'll just prime the stuff i add to them!... then realized the detail wouldn't show so well in pictures .  Apologies for the lack of visible detail.

Great conversions and excellent green stuff work!  If I can make a humble recommendation, I suggest using a pin drill to bore out your bolter barrels.  It's a small detail but looks really great in practice.

Looking nice LHL, the conversions have a lot of character. I'm always a bit jealous of people who can sculpt though...

MrBear! I will have you know after commenting on you WIP yesterday I was encouraged to work on the above squad! :D.

 

I'm finding sculpting has a lot to do with having the right tools. I really recommend Silicone Clay Shapers; picked up a nice set on ebay a few months back and they have been amazing! :P

@Mechanist. Thank you :)  Painting might be a little further off still :P.  I have a few more models i would like to finish first before i start the big haul of painting! Also, I really happy you stopped by! Your Khorne Daemon Knight has really pushed me over the edge to start working on some of my own conversion for a Heldrake :P.
