bloodthirsty wolves

So for those who haven't seen my previous posts I play a Khorne army using the space wolf codex. This lets me use the army which i've converted quite a lot, especially my 'thunderwolves'

Anywho, For the most part I can find places in the space wolf codex for all my models. but now there is a problem, the beautiful new bloodthirster model that I just ordered. It doesn't help that I've also ordered the lord of skulls.

I have a couple of options:

Run them as 'come the apocalypse' with all the negatives that entails

Somehow count them as something wolfy (although russ only knows what)

So has anyone used come the apocalypse on such big units and is it particularly crippling?

any thoughts about what I could count them as.

Also do you reckon it would be reasonable in friendly games to just count my guys as chaos space marines for allies purposes. that way i'd loose access to imperial knights and such but i'd be able to use my big gribblies with impunity

(oh and yes I am posting this in daemons and in space wolves so sue me)

I've seen some cool Lord of skulls conversions into Imperial Knights. Easiest and most expensive thing to do is buy a Knight, then use the legs instead of the tracks. You could then use the tracks you have left over to make a Blood Throne of Khorne from the warzone pandorax supplement!

Blood Thirster I would just run as Come the Apocalypse and say he is the DP that cursed the SW fluffwise.

Or, run them as CSM instead of SW, and ally the Daemons in as best buddies....and CtA any Knights when your feeling frisky.  That way your big gribblies synergise a wee bit better with your marines, and the Knight(s) --which are more likely to work well running solo than a CtA BT or LoS-- can do his own thing.

EDIT:  Fixed terrible grammar from earlier.

I would count the bloodthirster as logan's sled (can kinda make sense of it too- His hide is so thick he acts as a vehicle). might have some problems with him in close combat as the enemy can choose to attack his armor (chariot) or his flesh (logan) which is the biggest weakness of chariots right now.

The idea is great and the models look pretty. I don't think Come the Apocalypse allies are that bad. The only problem is deployment in a lot of situations, but the blood thirster can move so far so fast that deployment isn't really an issue (and the 6 inch bubble isn't a big deal either 5/6 of the time). I used to think it was a lot worse but then a friend of mine who plays Tau used assassins- which never triggered a problem.

AND The fact i love to throw either endurance or invisibility in my army to Buff the crap out of a single unit. My favorite is severin loth near a 300+ point TWC deathstar for either endurance or invisibility. Throw Harold in that mix for the "fur-ious" charge, and presto- you have S6 rending 3+/3++ 2 wound monsters with either 4+ FNP or invisibility. The issue is when you have come the apocalypse allies you can't pull off such shenanigans as that (blessings don't transfer to CTA allies).
