Noctus Cornix Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 So I got my hands on my new Khorne Bloodthirster recently and I must say, I am in love with this model. He is absolutely gorgeous and honestly he is, to date, one of my favorite models. He's not painted yet (though I think I'm going to prime him tomorrow) but I really just wanted to share him in all his wrath and terrible glory. I decided to leave him mostly bare save for the right arm which I've stacked a few platings onto him. I wanted to give him a style of crude brutality for the lust of bloodshed that harkens back to the ancient days of old when Gladiators spilt each other's blood on the sands of the Colosseum. To that end, I've given him a Manica that runs from the shoulder to the back of his hand. Otherwise he is left bare so you can see that corded muscle. Those poor suckers would happen to be from a relatively unmentioned successor chapter by the name of The Brothers of the Red, who's only official fluff happens to be that they were led to complete extinction. I'll have no use for him until traitor legions in the heresy get more wide spread access to demons, but what has ever been wrong with a head start? There's not too much room for re positioning without putting in the extra work, but eventually with some greenstuff you can get the legs right but the hooves will still make it look wonky.
