As we are aware ETL IV is coming up soon and I know that BCK and some of the others are aware of this fact. last year we did relatively well for the first time considering how small our percentage of the fraters were. now I feel we need to look at ways to up our game and bring this forum to the forefront of the competition this year. We use to have a saying about being Part of the Ship and Part of the crew. so no matter your cause or loyalties I feel this is where we should boast our efforts and create rivalries to motivate ourselves with this upcoming B&C wide event. I know there are alot of new comers and theyre welcome to challenge a lot of us more veterened hobbyists. so brother sisters and everyone. let us show them the Fires of War! Got 40 Tac Marines, 10 Seekers, 10 Phalanx Warders, 5 Templars, 2 Contemptors, A Deredeo, Polux, 4 Cataphractii, A Bunch Of Characters and 5 Heavy Flamer Support Marines yet to paint...Three Months, the ETL Lasts? Kor'Vesh Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 The Casual 30K hobby challenge will be running in support of the ETL - May vows (assuming it is may) will be STRONGLY encouraged to pledge in the ETL too, then the monthly pledging should give us a lot of triple success Fraters... thats the plan anyway, and Captain Semper is happy for the the thread to run in support of the ETL. I've got at least 500 points lined up for the ETL myself, and the progress in March shows that we're in good form for this year's event! Marshal - Black Templars won't value your contribution half as much as we will! Plus, you KNOW you want a sexy 30K army! Part of the ship.... Praevian Dereddeo Contemptor 20 terminators 2 Castellax I'll be getting everything from precast bases etc ready for day one ready for batch painting and building. Thinking fortifications may be a good idea like walls of martyr bastions etc to up the points. If we can prepare and turn out quality over quantity at least it will be more of a win for us. Plus, with Relics of the Armoury, could have a few 'Me vs. Me' tussles Hmm, let's see what I've got available for this... Deimos Predator Infernus, RT Vindicator and Ball Pred (to be modded as an Infernus) (probably do these as a single challenge) Salamanders Contemptor Deredeo 10 Firedrakes (en route) 10 Pyroclasts and one guy named Vulkan (not sure if I wanna put him in on a 'rush' challenge) Seeing as it's up to five challenges (if I'm reading previous years rules correctly), then I have enough models on-hand to cover multiple challenges. I've got: 20 tacticals 10 breachers 5 man command team 5 terminators And I have one contemptor, 6 brethren and a praetor on the way! DimDim out!
