Gathering of Dust - Aasfressers various finished Miniatures

Recommended Posts

Hello,

some might know my stuff from the Chaos Space Marine subforum, so there is nothing new at the moment right now for those. But I thought I can show the rest of the Fraters my Thousand Sons and their allied Black Legion and Iron Warrior forces. Maybe you see something you like and want to comment or maybe you have harsh criticism and a helpful comment. With time this will hopefully grow with every new mini I paint. For more Pictures you can visit my WiP-thread in the Chaos Forum.

Enjoy and may Tzeentch bless you with a tentacle!

The right shoulder pad is from one of the DV chosen. I think it was the one with the axe, but all of them have those pads on their right shoulders. The legs are from the CSM bikes. The rest is stuff from my TS bitz box, all from the TS upgrade set.

Theses are all great, but I love your 1k sons cool.png

Thanks. Then you will enjoy this one :)

I do love those Thousand sons models but am particularly impressed with the hazard stripes on the iron warriors too because I really struggle to get lines looking *that* clean.

Thank you. the stripes are rather simple: paint the area first yellow with highlights etc and then paint the stripes with very watered down black or even black ink. You can first "sketch" them on the yellow area, that's what I do. And everything is done with the brush.

Thank you!

Your IW look like you literally made them from rusty metal - wow. I agree with silversurfer, lots of character in your models!

I heavily used Modelmates liquid rust effect. It's simply awesome.

My second ETL4 vow is done!
