No I mean, the model looks great, as a Knight. A Warlord shouldn't just look like a bigger Knight. It should look more like the Reaver. Knights and Titans are almost seperate entities really, I don't like the idea that a Warlord is just a bigger knight like that is. Got a feeling I'm gonna be alone in this though.

Wasn't there a smaller warlord thing in Conquest? It could be that? They said at the weekender that the Warlord was still quite a way away didn't they?

That doesn't look small. Consider the size of the carapace lasblaster compared to the rest of it. Also, that could be a classic FW sleight of hand to distract us that it's closer than we realise

I can see what people mean by 'bigger knight.'  If you look around the waist, at the sort of fuel tank/canister on each side, it's very evident that they took design cues from the IKT model.

Aye, it's good. It gives all Knights, Titans and the recent Skitarii, which have similar motifs, a shared look and ties them all together.

Are we sure its not just a Knight Baron or Warden or whatever is there heavy ranged variant?

Fairly sure, aye. Knights are the smallest class of Titan, so that certainly isn't a Knight. The best candidate is a Mars-pattern Warlord, as has been shown already in this thread.

Its a good throwback to earlier editions, but I would prefer it to have a more 'titan' aesthetic than the 'knight'.

I reckon the true titans of the Collegia should all have a bestial snarl to their expressions and a more menacing aura; an indication of the powerful atavistic machine intelligence residing within, and their vicious place at the top of the battlefield foodchain. They represent the ultimate expression of worship to a faceless and brutal machine god that despises weakness - not the nobility and chivalry of humanity.

Edit: compare its aesthetics to the Reaver beside it - they project quite different personalities. The Reaver looks like a bad guy - the knight looks more generic. I don't need to tell you that the Imperium is a bad guy.
