Hello everyone! As some of you know I am the emissary of the Forge Masters group on facebook who have been working on the IInd Legion codex book so far! I've decided (after much deliberation and a bit of excitement) to do the IInd Legion from Athrawes. I haven't played or painted or even touched any minis in a long time (year and half I would say) so this is a great excuse to get back into the hobby that I love! Instead of posting minis on the other thread I will do it on here so you may follow along on my progress to create a successful army for 30k / 40k games! So let us get started! First off here is a WIP Vexillarius of my Tactical Squad, only 5 guys so far but will be ordering some new things on monday, cheers everyone!

WIP IMAGE HEAVY!

 

Here are some pictures of the Vexillarius nearing completion, I'm going to try to do some free hand symbols on his armour and maybe something more, in other news I started on the next guy for the Tactical squad! Also I ordered some Cataphractii Terminator to start a Terminator squad as a reward for finishing these 5 Tacticals (once they are done that is....) but enjoy!

It has been awhile since I last updated and since finals week is here my time is short but here is some progress! Finished the Vexillarius and working on marines #2:
