It's times like these, in the times of dire need that a hero often arises; one that carries the day, smashing all aside him (her). Semper, I realise it's too late now but for ETL V you should commission a badge to commend those crazy enough to attempt and complete vows within the last few days.

Hey guys I have pretty much finished my vow All I have left is my lord Mephiston which I will kill tonight. Since I am EST time in America what time will I need to appropriately post my picture for my completion? I think ?Greenwitch? time is 5 hours ahead of me can anyone confirm this?

 Edit: I know It is last minute turning in my vow but doing 3,000pts has taken me more time than I thought.. BUt alas it shall be completed tonight. *to be honest blame the new elder scrolls for distracting me so* But Hey i love you guys it has been a blast competing with you against other forums and making my hobby feel alive again. Im already building up my force for next years ETL.

Seriously, some of you need to learn your timezones ;)

 

Maru, Britain is BST in summer so we finish at 1800 local time. JFUCC, you're in EDT in summer so it's a midday finish.

I forgot about today's deadline!  OMG!!!

 

If I was still allowed to post w/o pre-condition photos - it would be that I'd build and paint:

 

(the total points below are estimated)...

 

I Ming rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete:

  1. a BA 5-man Vanguard Squad (4 Lclaws, 1 THammer, jump packs);
  2. a BA 10-man Assault squad (jump packs, melta, melta, combimelta [or grav pistiol], paxe); and
  3. Lemartes; and
  4. A Sanguinary Priest (Paxe, auspex, jump pack)

for a total value of 650 pts on or before August 1st, 2015. Success will bring eternal glory to the Blood Angels Chapter and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until my vow is fully completed. That shall be my penance.

Oh, and for those wondering, GMT=UTC. It stands for Universal Time Coordinated, it is a constant that all time zones are set to - including GMT.

 

GMT is also a pain because Britain spends half the year in it, which can result in confusion...

Also please keep in mind that (as Jolemai said) GMT does not change from winter to summer time. Jolemai has got the time issue under control. Ordo Chronos maybe? ;)

Steal away, Charlo. It will eventually (after ETL) have a greenstuff blood drop in the center where there's just a hole now, although if I had found an appropriate skull, that probably would have gone in there.

And Mr. Chappie is primed, has various base coats down, one pauldron is ready for decaling and the purity seals and helmet (not pictured) are nearly done. cool.png

I sadly ran into some difficulties after the ETL started and ended up being kept away from my miniatures, but I have not failed the Angel. My vow is complete! Hopefully this will be the last year I run into issues because of moving during the ETL.

okay so its taken me more than an hour to find all my minis i want to paint for BA and add everything together so here it goes!!

Quick update, including photos from last week repeated from my own thread:

 

I have now completed all four Tactical Squads, the five-man Assault Squad and one of the two Captains (photo of the Captain below). I've timed my efforts this week to leave me just the one Captain to work on tomorrow and, as it happens, I have the day off. Hurrah!
