I, Angrypants, rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete a Wolf Lord with Blackdeath, storm shield and rune armour for a total of 165pts.

Success will bring me glory to the sons of Russ, failure will doom me to bear the badge of the Oathbreaker until the end of the year.

Welcome Angrypants! I can see that the numbers of the Wolves are building up - that's a good sign!

 

Now keep in mind, you only have until June 1st to get in new recruits, so if you're thinking of joining, the time is now!

Here is a mini update on my progress.  Most of the grey hunter squad is basecoated and layered.  Time for some details and shading and dry brushing.  And I felt like working with something a bit bigger, so my Razorback/Rhino is also coming along nicely!!

Still sorting through the bits and discovered that the frostblade that I was going to use isn't going to work, as it is left handed instead of right handed. Going to play around with a couple of weapon options over the next couple of days and I will also be sorting out my next vow in preparation that this one goes to plan.

Originally it was going to Sammaels sword since I have an old metal one. It just means another model gets it in the future. I've almost finished assembling the Lord bar Frostsword. Pictures tonight or tomorrow.

You can still vow again after finishing your first after that deadline though yes?

 

Ok, it appears there is a mix up with the deadlines. Let me explain:

 

There are two deadlines in the ETL. The first is in June 1 and it's the deadline to accept participants into the event. After June 1st the doors to new participants close forever. The way to declare participation is to make a pledge. Once you make a pledge the only deadline you should care about in the second deadline in August 1 i.e. the end of the event itself.

 

So you make your fist vow before June 1 and you're in. You have until Aug 1 to complete. If you complete earlier than that (be it at any time during the event) you can vow again. Again the only deadline you should care about is Aug 1. You can do up to 5 consecutive vows in total and for each vow the deadline is Aug 1.

I, Wulvenblut, rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete two Venerable Dreadnoughts armed with Blizzard Shields and Fenrisian Great Axes and equipped with Smoke Launchers from Codex: Space Wolves, for a total value of 300 points on or before August 1st, 2015.

Success will bring eternal glory to Thorstein Helrider's Great Company and death and suffering to the enemies of the Vlka Fenryka. Failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbraker until the end of the year, but such thing will not be allowed to happen. 

Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow, when I prime the models. 

 

I was planning on starting earlier, but I live in one of the far regions of the world and the delivery service decided to take their time. Once I complete this I will try to vow Murderfang and a Wolf Lord on TW, but I can't make any promises because the deadline for my thesis is near.
