I have five Autocannons, two Sicarans and two Daemon Princes now in a lovely bath :) I'm going to clip and file the Sicarans if I can tonight, get stuff built - will be good!

Just spent yesterday undercaoting the 2x Metal Chaos Dreadnought, 3x Terminators & Mechanicus for my new Dark Mechanicus force.  Then getting leadbelcher spray on the Terminators & Dreadnought.

 

Suprise it been a week since I've painted, just it longest amount time in past few years I've spent not painting any models.

- Going to spend a few hour on Friday painting one of the metal Chaos Dreadnought.

- Saturday going to be spent finish painting those three Terminators.

 

Just waiting on Forge World order to arrive from stuff that was not in stock that the Warhammer World open day.  Just allow me get my Terminator Champion converted & Chaos Lord, as well as arm's for both Dreadnoughts. 

Also need to pick up new matt varnish from my local Games Workshop store.

@Chaeron, what are the big fellas and where are they from?

They're Rotten Butchers from Kromlech! Gorgeous kit to put together, fits very well without any real need to clean up and the detail is immense. Just so crisp and looks wonderful. Cannot wait to get some paint on these and show them off.

I love the look and rules for a Sicarian but after the fight I've had with the "simple" parts from Forgeworld (cultist weapons) I don't think I could bring myself to buy one and have parts snap or be so warped as to be useless

The kit was beautiful, I have to say. I literally washed the kit, clipped from the sprue and had to saw the blocks from the tracks - but it was ideal. No warm water to bend things back into place or whatever, all went together like a dream. The one on the right of the photo doesn't sit perfectly (you can't really tell from the photo), although it can rock depending on the surface, and this is something I can simply fix with a bit of appropriate mud weathering below - easy! I didn't even need to pin or adjust anything, all the sponson weapons move in all directions, I must have had luck with me!

 

There are some minor gaps to fill with some liquid green stuff, and despite my fear of building these, I would heartily recommend it - great fun, and they're just so visually stunning. I love that look!

I've had a bloody awesome idea for the freehand on my Brass Scorpion - it's gonna commemorate the Chaos participants of the ETL. Everyone gets their name written somewhere on it in the Dark Tongue.

 

Also it'll look like binding runes and such, but I wanted something to make it look deliberate, as opposed to just a random scrawl.

Loving the work I am seeing so far! I am almost done cleaning and assembling my vow items. I need to tally up my points and then I can put forth my vow for the ETL.

I finally got some hobby-time at home this week so could get started on my spawn and second Daemonette squad. The first squad, which I work on at the office, is coming along nicely...

 

But my WiFi is down at home so no photos. I'll be disembowelling the WiFi company staff this weekend.
