Just got the Terminator Champion converted yesterday.  Just need to green stuff base & he should be ready for undercaoting tomorrow.  Three Terminators are almost finish, hopeing spend lunch time getting last few parts painted.  Then get one of the two classic Dreadnought painted before Game of Thrones :D

I finally got my terminators completed today, just waiting on the bases to dry. Now all I have left for my first vowel is 2 Nurgle Oblits. Which are assembled, primed, base coated, and made Nurgly. I think I should be done by next weekend.

 

Originally the second vow was going to include a land raider, but my painting time has taken a pretty big hit lately, so I'm thinking of another smallish vow. I have a beastman character whose head I want to swap with a dark apostle, I'm not fond of his facial expression. It won't be an easy swap but I think I can make it work. Maybe I will also remake my namesake terminator lord, as he is done with his simple green hot tubbing.

Thanks man I am really enjoying painting him :) I should be painting loyalist drop pods, but he is much more fun, so....

@oldschoolsoviet: heldrakes perfrom a very different battlefield role as helblades, but fielding a helblade as a heldrake counts-as is indeed a viable (and awesome looking) option. Speaking of awesome, I saw those Chaos Marines with shields and spears and thought they looked amazing! Close ups of the finished results please!

The Heldrake kit is surprisingly salvageable, just assemble it backwards, add some tentacles from the maulerfiends and hey presto, something a bit more Chaos and a bit less Fantasy dragon. I'm not the only one who have done something similar, but this is my take.

Thank you Augustus, your vindicator doesn't look too bad yourself ;) It's a lovely model, and certainly conveys a fair amount of brutality between the choice of marine armour, and the different style of the gun. More in your face style.

 

Although one point, and I apologize considering you said nothing bad about my drake, your brass comes across very much as almost gold, especially on the gunner. This is probably the lighting though, as the brass further down looks more...brassy? But still, some excellent detail, and a gory model. What more could we ask for :D looks lovely

^^Thanks Aeternas, but how is what you're saying anything bad? The 'brass' looks like gold because it is! Valejo Liquid Metal Old Gold with an AP Strong Tone wash, to be specific. :D

On hindsight I admit I didn't actually make a point :lol: I was trying to say that if you were going for dark brass, it may be a bit too light, but if you're going for gold, spot on :D
