Not updated pictures on mnie but I am still pushing out my two TS squads and Ahirman has been started as well. I had hoped to add in a second vow of my RT landraider but time is looking short at this speed.

Thank you so much! I really thought that would be a bit to much with the ethereal ghosty stuff coming out of his armor and helmet, after all they shall accompany my Thousand Sons in battle. But I have to correct you in one point: that's not Kranon, that was Draznicht, the Chosen-Leader with the powermace.

Thank you! I've loved painting these - delighted in the investment and in how they've turned out.

 

On to probably blitzing the Plague Marines in my vow. Probably sensible to get the last few things sprayed too. I also still have one Havoc squad to build!

I have been running around like a madman, and haven't had time to log on in about a week. But its Looking great. I have 5 more Marines to be done before my Vow is done! If I can find the time i will get it done this week.

Then Vow 2, which should be 3 Forge Fiends. Should be able to get all of that done by Aug 1st.

I now need to decide between metallic blue or acryllic blue. I think i can make the metallic blue a tint darker then forgeworlds, due to not drybrushing the metal layer, but airbrushing it. However, if i do metallic, should any secondary colours also be metallic, or can you have for example the shoulder plate with half metallic blue and then half with a acrlyic bone?

Cheers dude! Yeah, I'm currently stripping a pile of stuff and mentally dividing it up into smaller 500-750 point vows. That way I don't accidentally overstretch myself.

Bit of an update, managed to finish the main part of the next raptor, roughly same colour scheme as the champ.

 

Not sure though, should I keep the red shoulder pad, or change it to purple like the other? Is it too khornate?

Definitely sensible: winning on revows should be our aim! I've spent the evening spraying anything else that needed it, so can blitz from here on out.
