I think I get more as a daemonprince, plus that seems more appropriate. ooops, Terminus, not Necrosius. Wrong name.....

Aaah, that explains a lot. Necrosius is the power armoured nurgle sorcerer, after all.

 

Terminus could definitely go for a nurgle daemon prince, with wings, armour and murder sword for something like 250 points from the top of my head.

Yeah, I will cost it out whenever, but he will definitely be above the 191 I was heading for, so it will work for me.

Well I left my iPad at work so not sure if I'll be able to do a photo update tonight. But I've based the maulerfiend, it's DONE.  Just one unit of bloodletters and a unit of berserkers to go.

 

Berserkers, undercoated and bases are DONE.  Aiming to get a brush of bronze on them tonight, and any steel trim. Ready for a wash before bed.

 

Bloodletters, started to basecoat them.  Aim to finish basecoating (which wants to auto correct to bisecting) them and wash before bed.

 

Just found out my wife is out Friday night so I should have plenty of time then to finish stuff off, if needed (yes, I would rather be doing this than going out!)

think it be demonkin vow it makes khorne happy sorry for the inacurate vow but rl is thowing roadblocks, when i get my ahriman model back ill see if i can make a group shot if that was what you wanted semper

For Daemonkin, I have it as Helbrute (135) and CSM (195) for a total of 330 points for Thamier

 

EDIT and as for my progress, brass is done on the berserkers and bloodletters are all washed. At this rate I may even finish tomorrow!

 

EDIT2: some of my berserkers have bare skin in places. Anyone able to point me to a decent flatten tutorial (or advice). I hate painting skin normally.

If it is just a few places, just paint them brown, then use a skin tone layer above it, then wash with reikland fleshshade or carrionburg crimson (or both).

I saw on the forge world web sight the blood thirster with white skin so I wanted to do a pale khorne daemon prince.

@ Augustus thanks alot, i did alot of cutting, trimmed off the head and cut off the torso and twisted the pose, bent the arms a bit and added a new head

Okay progress made on the lord of skulls.  Tracks basically done, layering on skulls 1/2 done, and have started the washes to tint the silver base to a dark red.  Would have gotten farther tonight except took a 2 hour break to help catch a lost puppy in the neighborhood.  Maybe the karma will help me finish with a little time to spare....

To my daughter's delight he's just pink right now.  By Wednesday and another 4-5 washes he should be metallic red.  Have had to adjust my approach due to the large armor plate sections.  Still a little concerned that the color will be splotchy or take more layers than expected.  And definitely not looking forward to the trim and some of the detailing after that is done.
