Thought I'd pop on in and give some motivation to you all.

 

But there has been progress, let's see some completions but ensure our quality continues as it has.

from the LACAL of total value of 220 points on or before August 1st, 2015.

(Seriously... Gonna hit 5 vow completions despite moving, having no money and no minis. You watch!)

Spartan

 

Leaves just:

5 Destroyers, 2 Rapiers and 2 Apothecaries.

 

Then I can finally cram in a quick second vow of Typhon and some Terminators :)

 

I do indeed use AK Interactive paints, specifically the Panel Liners. I swear by them, and it's totally removed any need for shading and layering. Huzzah!

Awesome, cheers man - glad to see someone else doing Death Guard in bulk! I'd be specifically interested in whatever orange you use, just because I've not found something as good as what you do for those bigger patches of rust!

Chaeron - rhinox hide base over a black primer. Paint patches of a lighter, mid-brown. Then over those patches, at points, paint bits of troll slayer orange over it (but showing some of the mid-brown also). Then I did the chipping fluid and then the White coat over that
