Skimask: You DID base them, its just see-through perspex ph34r.png That way they suit any terrain you are playing on ;)

EIther that or get online, find a nice scenic picture... Print it cut out some 40mm circles and voila, bases done :)

Really sorry guys, I somehow lost 10 40mm bases so I can't base the last portion of my vow....

 

Everyone else keep up the fantastic work though

 

Cardboard, cardstock, plasticard? If you have any of these about, you could at least make a temporary base for the day.  :D

The quality of the work is too great for words. Also seeing such high quality and in such high numbers reminds me why I love this hobby so much! 

 

absolutely stunning stuff here guys. I've been painting like a fiend to finish my vow, will have it up tonight! Quick Q tho. I also finished some other stuff I had planned to vow (ive posted wips in my wip thread). After posting my first finished Vow, is it kosher to post my second, with pre-pics and post? 

 

You can post what you like here, we love to see your work, but if you want it to count you need to make a proper vow - i.e. start work on the minis after you made your vow...

Sadly not, I have literally 0 non bit conversion materials. Also it wouldn't feel right as part of the spirit of the ETL is "don't compromise the quality"

 

That's fair, brother. A shame, though, being cut short by the humble base. I feel for ya, man.

Been an absolute pleasure seeing all the hard graft going on. truly inspiring. This is the first time I've been in the ETL and I've enjoyed seeing everyone's work, its certainly pushed me to try harder to keep up with the talent here.

Well now, I can finally present the recruits on the Black Shield Mercenary Company! 

I apologise for their state, I totally forgot the deadline and in my rush to finish them they've ended up going on holiday with me! Unfortunately in the travelling the Raider suffered some glancing hits and lost its commander and hull mounted gun! 

(Also apologies for the picture quality - could only use my phone and a kitchen)

I'm not dead yet! 17 Hours to go (if the 17:00 GMT cut off is accurate) and I've got edge highlighting and gluing left. I'm not exaggerating to say that the effort it's taken to get these guys done has been brutal. Absolutely zero motivation to paint/model/game for the past month so the brotherhood here in the AoD can take solace from the fact that is purely they who have forced me to dig out the paints and brushes and not let the side down
