brother_contagion
Nice batrep. At least some of the Eldar D weapons can't do 6+D6 wounds, but D3 S10 AP2 wounds on a 3-6 is still incredibly power for infantry to wield (short range not withstanding). Can Wraithgaurd Overwatch? I thought they were Slow and Purposeful?

GreyCrow
Nice batrep ! The Wraithguard formation isn't that OP imho. What's really hard to beat is a Scatbike spam.
typhus40k
Thank you Grey Crow. Everyone was making such a big deal about D weapons. I wanted to show people they are not as scary as everyone made them out to be.
brother_contagion
Thank you Grey Crow. Everyone was making such a big deal about D weapons. I wanted to show people they are not as scary as everyone made them out to be. They are all short ranged, and granted the Distort rule makes the D roll fail on a 1-2 and can't do more than D3 wounds/hull points, but comparable to Meltaguns (which are also ubiquitous and short ranged) it by far surpasses them because on a 3+ you're always guaranteed D3 penetrating hits rather than glancing AV14 on 6s and less likely to blow something up in one shot. D weapons don't shine against 1 wound models, they shine vs multi-wound/hull point models. 5 Wraithcannons are better than 5 Meltaguns every day of the week. People have a reason to dislike them. Ming
There were a few rule issues here and there and definitely some tactical issues on both sides, overall nice to see. A more aggressive marine player with the same list would have wrecked you. On the other hand, a more aggressive eldar play would have resulted in a more convincing win. I'm looking forward to trying a game vs eldar sometime.
