Just a place to post what you having been doing in the hobby regarding the followers of the Omnissiah, today! As for me, I sprayed my Skitarii sprues black! ....And got a wonderful pay backdate from work meaning I am open to buy a lot more where that came from (.....what army of unpainted BA Tacs, Death Company, 3 dreads, Bike squad, Stormraven +20-30 other models....) Apostle of the 30th Host Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Nice idea Charlo! :) Today I started re-painting some of the armour plates on my Dark Mechanicus Knight as I felt they were not as neat as the rest. Turns out I also need to fix one of his Heavy Stubbers as the end appears to have broken off at some point and I only just noticed (and can't find the bit) - looks like I'll just be forced to buy a second for the spare Stubber ;) I was also hoping my most recent Skitarii purchase would turn up today, meaning I could make my first vow - I found someone selling a new in box Skitarii Vanguard/Rangers set and the Codex for like £30 (normally like £45 straight from GW for those not in the UK) which made me rather happy. I want to enter it into Adepticon Titanicus next year, but the model is not exactly designed for mobility on the battlefield. The solution - designing a custom drop-platform caster dolly to wheel it around. Fortunately, I have a very handy and very bored coworker who enjoys weird fabrication projects. Dez Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 I've been using the Vallejo Game Air and they are great. My only quibble is that the paint dries really, really fast. I haven't done anything today, (BOO WORK) but did work on building my Onager and Dragoon this weekend. Still have tons to build, including some more conversion work on my Knight. I've also been thinking a lot about backstory and Logo for the Legio Diabolus. I'm pretty sure I'm going to name my first Knight the Dissident Aggressor.
