I'm thinking he's OK being a sergeant for now, I already have some ideas for my praetor. I'm adding some more tactical squads for now, I'm saving my pennies for Guilliman. noigrim Posted June 7, 2015 Share Posted June 7, 2015 I've been readinf through the tempest book and I would reccomend you to get some Invictarii, only units with ap 2 at initiative at melee, with guilliman they are troops becoming scoring units, put them both in a stombird and get ready to roll angainst unwieldy types. The fulmentarus are sweet too with their armourbane rules at 5+ models, deploy 10 or so and go hunt some tanks while hitting hard in hand to hand. Finally you could use your assault squad as a counts as locutarum squad: for only 35pts more than a standard assault squad you get artificier armour and power sword in all the squad, overpowered! noigrim Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 you can find power gladius in the cromlech range of bits, but it would be a pity to alter your magnificent models, use them as counts as (besides, Loken has a parangon blade-chainsword). I used bitz from the new Ultramarines upgrade pack, Vanguard veterans, Sternguard veterans and a MKIV head, I'm rather pleased with how he turned out. I keep coming in here and seeing your UM's with MkIV and like where this is all going. My only comment would be that I feel the edging of some of the gold on the shoulder emblems and backpack exhaust things on the tacticals could use a quick clean up.
