Ran out of likes, but I must say that new Astral Claw is looking suitably sinister. Think it must be that MK IV helm in particular, it looks alot menacing than the others available for some reason.

 Thank you Soric! Just the look I was aiming for. :D I think it's because this MK IV helm looks almost like a skull with those vertical grills.

So, here are the next two Claws. Still one to go though and that's Negarek himself, the sergeant. I ran out of shields unfortunately, so they havta go shieldless, for now ;)

The penal guard is getting washed and cleaned probably tomorrow or Thursday. So expect to see them soon too. Alright, 'till the next update guys and thanks for looking!

Thanks Paladin! Haha yeah, I think so too. tongue.png I also find it a bit disappointing that Forge World didn't release more upgrade goodies for the other Badab chapters...

Damns straight! If the Exorcists had gotten a unique chapter tactics, Forgeworld shoulder pads, and a model for their unique character, I'd probably have kept playing them!

VicMini's penal guard are entering the fray! Screaming and flailing their way through the masses!

Still gotta do one flamer guy and some gap filling but they are coming along nicely. Lovely miniatures, loads of character! The arms didn't always fit very well but nothing some green stuff can't fix.

The first flamer guy. Hacked up some Cadian arms to remove the shoulder pads. They're still a bit rough so I'll be working on that some more. The hose/cable thing will be sculpted with green stuff.

Those are snazzy! The flamer looks awesome with a Hannibal vibe making him a bit eerie.

Love that Hannibal mask biggrin.png reserved him specially to wield a flamer!

Evenin' everyone!

Today I've assembled Veteran Sergeant Negarek of the Retaliators! biggrin.png I had bitz laying around for this guy for a few weeks, but went to the hobby store today to pick up the Vanguard Veterans box and finished him. The penal guard is well underway too. I hope to finish them in the weekend.

With Negarek done, the Retaliator Squad is done and ready to get painted! Painting will start after the penal guard.

Negarek looks like the kind of fellow that wouldn't take crap from anyone or anything. That is perfect. I also love those axe heads!

Hello fraters!

 

A quick update for you guys. I'm currently busy painting one of the Retaliators. The gold and metallics are pretty much done. The Tyrant's Legion shoulder pad is done too. The detail on the shoulder pad is very crisp and it is loads of fun to paint! :D
