Kobrakei: Cheers, man. Was fun writing it!

Magnus: Very high praise indeed! Hope to improve as I go. Cheers dude.

Dosjetka: Thanks mate. Hope to get some more pics up soon.

Noctus: Well, I need 6 objective markers total, so stick around, there's going to be a lot more dead Ultramarines in the near future, lol.

Thanks for the kind words, all. Hope to get the next update out soon. I've assembled 20 more Marines over Christmas, a Tactical squad and a Tactical Support squad (CHOOM), so hopefully will get pics soon.

Yep, exquisite work. Consider lots of ideas stolen, especialy Augustus with his nice base but also some of the standard troops as well.

I wanted for some time to start a second battle company but I cannot leave the beautiful gold shoulder pad rims of the 2nd, so your idea with black and gold is magificent! 5th company it is then for all my excess troops!

Also subbed! heheh...

Edit: Where are my manners? HAPPY NEW YEAR!

VI Squad Castigator, newly mustered from remnants of V and VIII Squads (crossref. Arboreth Massacre)

Edit: CHOOM.

Ooooooh   Ooooooh....The heavy weapons!!!

Where did you get them from, I can see they are FW, volkites,  looked on their site and i cant see them listed at all, will delve back in for another look.

They would go well with my Sons of Heracles.

Nice work by the way!!

Yeah dude, definitely they would go well with your boys. I feel you'd have to run them as graviton weapons or something but it'd be an awesome match for sure.

Lovely work, Arkhan. I never understood the bad rep the XII has, and you're proving it wrong in an impressive way. Great, great mini's.

Cheers Augustus, your praise is greatly appreciated. I can't wait to get the next update out, I've already got two more squads, a Rhino and six objectives, plus the start of Iron Hands auxilia fighting alongside the Hundred, all assembled and waiting for paint. Going to be a big update, I think.

So not to be pushy.... but.... when will those last two characters see paint?

Soon, I hope - I've just basecoated the Destroyers, however, as they're next. After that, I think it'll be time for a HQ choice. I have two finished units ready to be photographed, but in the meantime here's a WIP of a transport:

Any thoughts for 30k-isation?

Doesn't actually need any as the Mars pattern was available during 30k, but was seen as the more cheap and easy to produce option compared to the Deimos pattern. Most people chose the superior Deimos, but it would make sense to have the more "disposable" kind with your theme

I think you covered that pretty well, with the tigrus bolter under the screen, the pintle mounted twin bolter, and the chainsword.

EDIT: Also what SkimaskMohawk said.

Cheers lads - yes, as mentioned, they're from Anvil's Exo-Lords range. Well scaled to 40k/30k, as is most of that range.

Skimask, you made my day - I was dreading having to plasticard a Deimos hull, but cross-checking what you've said with other sources it makes perfect sense to keep it as a Mars for the reasons you've mentioned. Cheers!

Painting is currently underway on Atrox (Destroyers) and X Legion auxiliaries...in the meantime, have some CHOOM to tide you over.
