I've recently started my own crusade again after having stopped collecting many years ago (when we had our own codex!). This is the first time i've properly painted my models, my previous ones being undercoated, white shoulders and hand made Templar cross (not very good i assure you). So i've decided to post updates on my army growing and being painted step by step. The name is a take on a crusade to remove heretics from France (i thought it fitting haha!) So to start i have Hospitaller squad armed with bolters, my emperor's champion and a few crusaders. Sorry about the poor quality photos! (EDIT: Changed the name of my crusade!) Marshal_Benjamin Posted August 27, 2015 Author Share Posted August 27, 2015 Thank you! I love the model much more than our current one so i thought i'd dig on out from the depths of ebay and use him. Yeah, they're not just quartered i have a few different ones scattered throughout, they're to give depth to each model, my crusade was an offshoot of the Jerulas crusade and therefore most of them have the jerulas marking, while there are some other crusade markings throughout designating more experienced battle brothers :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really like that emperors champion model too but I ended up getting the one I have for only a few dollars , though I might get that one just to paint my own up ! I changed it to Antioch because I recently read a book on the first crusade and the capture of Antioch by bohemund. But now I have found out about it being a forge world I may have to use that!
