Regiments of the B&C: Heroes of the Guard

Great to see progress being made and another recruit I should really sort out my vow but this week is awfully busy Plenty of time though

I'm in. For now I'll start off with a vow of one plasma gunner for Heroes of the Guard. I've been wanting to put some paint on her for ages, now seems like a good time to get on with it.

Hopefully I'll be able to add on a vow for one of the events that I missed, probably a Chimera for Treads and Thrusters.

I, Shamansky, of 1st Nubilan 'Greshin's Leftovers' do hereby vow to complete Officer of the Fleet from Codex: Astra Militarum for the Regiments of the B&C: Blood and Glory challenge by the 9th October for the honour of Holy Terra and the B&C.

Excellent, that's our first Blood and Glory secondary vow. I wonder if we can get a Big Guns Never Tire for the full set? ;) Don't forget the regimental write up Shamansky for the full ranks :tu:

I'll try. But i'm not really god at writing. Especially writing in foreing language. And what concerns me more is a plot hole in my regiment backstory which contradicts with some of my already painted minies.

The quality of the writing doesn't matter, you don't need to go into detail either. Just a couple of paragraphs on your regiment is all that's required, can just be detailing facts about them if that's what you'd prefer :)

would a sentinel count for big guns? it says any vehicle without transport capacity? i doubt i will get that far but if some miracle gives me another hobby night before the deadline it could happen

After 2 evenings of doing The Emperor's work I am pleased to report that the Astra Ministorum are coming along nicely. They should be ready by Wednesday.

I have gone for a dark raggedly look rather than the standard chocochip look of the guardsmen to help them to stand out on the table as though that would be a problem for a priest with a double handed chainsword ;)

Looks like the final challenge for "Regiments" is gathering momentum with one finish already, some well on the way, new vows and Lord Commissar WarriorFish trailing behind, watching our backs as usual ;)

Nearly done with the mini, just need basing and the minis own fluff. Although I am considering once I'm done with the challenge I will need to rewrite some of the regiments fluff (most of the current fluff is about a year old). Pictures will be up soon

I've tried 2 ETL's before and it did not go well But you never know about next year!
