There is a club but I have yet to find it lol. I'll ask around and see if anybody is actually a member and I'll torture them to find out where it is.

I have my dad crashing at mine atm (he has a business in Lynn but he lives in Essex, so to save him traveling back or kippin in the office I stuck him in the box room) but he should (hopefully) be buying a house up here in the next few months. When he does I'll be sleeping in the small room (easier to keep warm in winter and I wont get woken up by drunk people shouting outside as its at the back) and the big bedroom will be turned into a games room, so eventually I'll be able to have games here without all the annoying ppl you get interrupting at GW.

Moving to just south of Kings Lynn in a few weeks, anyone know any gaming clubs etc

Where abouts you moving to? and what made you decide to move to norfolk lol

 dont forget a few toes on your cheek to truly blend in!

Now I have my spare room back Im turning it into a mancave where I can get a 6x4 board up, might be able to go bigger if I breathe in. Not sure if the local clubs still going or not, thats why Im doin my own set up as I play non GW stuff like Lion Rampant and hopefully Saga money permitting. Ill even provide coffee for B&C users. Ill give y'all a heads up when its done so we can get some toy soldier action on the go. :tu:

Been to GW Kings Lynn a couple of times and it's alright, seemed like a friendly enough bunch in there. Not aware of any clubs though as I wouldn't consider it my "local" haunt. I know Lynn is closer to you in Downham Market but down the road in Ely there's a GW stockist; City Cycle Centre. They have a reasonable selection of the range but occasionally you find a real oldie or bargain in there. They had one of the old DE Raider kits until fairly recently and at the moment have 3 Execution Force boxes for £50 a piece. Good place for back-copies of WD weekly as well.

Still trying to find something myself. Its grim round here. :/

The Kings Lynn store is probably the best GW store Ive ever been in (apart from the store I worked in of course), Matt the manager is a sound lad and if hes run off his feet most of the customers take over as his minions so there is always someone to help you with new purchases and advice. Player wise theres a nice mix of beer and pretzels types right up to the serious tourny lot (who occasionally take a chill pill and join us commoners who play for laughs). Ive only met one WAAC fedora wearing neck beard mouth breather gamer in the three years Ive been here and he wont play me now since I smashed him with my Chaos. So much for 'my Ultras have never lost to Chaos'. We should have a B&C meet up in GW soon, would be nice to get new faces in.

Id happily treck to Norwich for a game, easier than getting to Liverpool to play my old lot

Plus I need to get out of Downham now and again, change of scenery.

Ill have a look for the FB group now.

Not actually in Norfolk, but gets an honourable mention due to it having a good space for wargaming and the people being very nice whenever I've travelled there for tournaments is Boundless Realms in Lowestoft.

Hope this helps some of you find some games.
