Congratulations Jeff. It's very cool they did this for you, it's an honour I'm sure.

I love this game, it's my favorite IOS game for sure. I've bought a few packs, and the killing stuff part keeps me going.

This Knight was made in honour of my Ultramarines...

(and shows the painter system if anyone is curious)

But I do enjoy the Freeblade design as well and considered buying one/painting it up:

I don't play a lot of games anymore but truly enjoying this...

Then I went with this design...

Because it reminds me of the Knight I made for my Grey Knights:

It turns out my GK don't really seem to get much from the Knight, but along the way I just fell in love with using it and want to paint about... 30 more. lol

Nice! I also used Retribution Incarnate for a long time. Always loved that scheme with the bold scrollwork flowing all across the pauldrons and shoulders. And I second the vote for the House Drakkus scheme they did. It's pretty great!

This game is still way fun, even after grinding all the way to 15th to unlock my Queen, it's very fresh. I'm loving the super short levels that really encourage me to try them again for a better score.

EDIT: I have a sneaking suspicion I won't change my skin ever again in this game. Maybe some day, but right now I'm not seeing it.

Congrats again Tibbets!

Also - Melta Gun is OP.

And I made my Freeblade look like my models (more or less).

Been forging my Wargear. I break down my best part and combine it with 2 or 3 parts that are almost the same rating to get a new part that's +5 to +15 the rating of my previous best part.

How did you guys get such great wargear?

Just keep plugging away is my method. Play lots of patrols to get loot, then forge and upgrade til your stuff is more powerful.

Don't think I'm doing as well as some people, but I'm pretty happy with this guy:

Are there any hints if that game will be released for Android as well?

It looks really good and to be honest, I'm jealous. ^^ Would like to create a Knight for my own Household and this generator looks pretty damn good.

I don't think they've gone so far as announcing any other versions, but it's almost inevitable I would think. The ONLY reason I might imagine it may stay iOS is the fact they presented at Apple's last keynote presentation. I wonder if Apple and Google work out exclusive titles the same way Xbox and Playstation do. I've never heard of it, but I'd hardly be surprised to hear it. In this case I don't think that's happening, because usually those games are marketed as exclusive.

My brother is an app developer and he said most of that seeming bias towards iOS is that it's way easier to develop for, so they get that out first as a sort of test and then they work on porting the code over and testing it on Android. It's not a conspiracy, but if you watch comments on Facebook you'd swear it was. Hang tight and I'm sure it'll come around.

Thank you for your explanation.

I never thought of that android is more complicated than ios. I would have thought the other way around.

I don't think that they create games like for xbox and playstation. As far as I can see, Drop Assault is really popular and exists for boh systems. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, seems like I have no better choice but to pray. ;)

Does Freeblade need a constant internet connection? Or is it possible to play offline as well?

Developing for iOS is "easier" in the same way that developing games for consoles is "easier" than for a PC.  Apple hardware is far more consistent as there is not a lot of variation (essentially just model of iPad, iPhone, Ipod) where as Android developers have to take into account many more types of devices that are far more variable/customizable with a much wider range of possibilities and thus, potential compatibility issues. Should be just a matter of time before we see Freeblade on an Android though ^_^

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with Deathwatch. I know some studios simply only know one set of app dev, and they usually outsource to another dev for the other platform. Is it possible that game was too much work to port or something? I don't know the story there.

The gorkanaught? First step is to make sure you've got your shield focused on it when it starts shooting, then blast it a couple of times with your primary weapon before charging in and finishing it off in close combat.

If you've replaced your stubber with a meltagun, that can help with shooting high armour targets like gorkanaughts and dreads.

Chapter 6 also opens up a 3rd set of scenarios for all the missions in the previous Chapters.

Stikk Bomb are uncharacteristically powerful.

Shoot lights, barrels, statues, generators, to keep your score multiplier going.

@ Kilo - dude those are awesome. I wish I had 5 apartment block sized buddies escorting me to work every day.

I'm still loving the Freeblade skin but bounced back to my Divinus Veridian design for Ultra's... Now I want to buy another Crusader Knight and cook up a few of them for future Apoc sized battles! Was it all a plan all along? I think so. lol

I'm just hitting lvl 13 and loving the Khorne Khontent. :)
