Here's my contribution to the thread, the praetor for my 30k Salamanders force, Aryeh Avraham: Istvaan's black sand reminded him of the ash on Nocturne. It surrounded him. Almost buried him. The force of the blast had thrown him far from where he had stood. Sensors in his helmet reported damaged limbs, failing systems. Aryeh had no time for such concerns.
