Vorek Gnarlfist, Lord of the Iron Wolves, after crossing the Rubicon.
Little bit of self made fluff for Vorek and his weapon since we don't have much. Hopefully the forthcoming supplement won't contradict anything.
Vorek, once known as Warblade, is called Gnarlfist for the massive, master crafted claw he bears into battle. The Gnarlfist is an ancient relic of the Fang, so named for the 3 claws made of gnarled bone which protrude from it's knuckles. The claws themselves are of unknown origin and are razor sharp and nigh unbreakable. The addition of matter disrupting power fields to each bone makes it a truly fearsome weapon. It's history dates back to the early days of the VI Legion and heroes bearing the name of Gnarlfist can be found throughout the sagas sung by the Wolf Priests and skjalds of the chapter. Vorek was given the Gnarlfist upon his elevation to the Wolf Guard by Osric Three Fists, lord of the great company before Egil Iron Wolf. He has carried it since that day, formerly when in his terminator armour and now as part of his MKX Gravis plate as an ascended primaris marine. He also carries a power axe that has been his since he was leader of his previous pack. Named Foe Splitter, it has a storied history of its own.
Again, painting mostly done by Gorkas Miniature Painting, I redid the fur and added a few other touch ups to suit my personal taste.

Had my First Captain cross the Rubicon Primaris and finally got around to using this awesome kit I've been sat on since it's original release.
Probably going to end up redoing the shoulder shield, I can't free-hand to save my life.

Is this an Emperor's Children member, from an alternate universe where Fulgrim remained loyal? The baby blue and PINK armor, with a royal purple cape, is an uncommon choice.

That is one of the best looking sculpts ever for a primarch, I dont care what anyone says, and the head/face really sets the tone for his character. I wish GK had a primarch that looked like the Lion.

No i haven't participated in any Golden Daemon...
The cloak was done using techniques: normal layering, some stippling and smudging followed by glazes and texture painting. You can find some vidoes on YT on how to use these techniques

Bevulf, that Lion is amazing, and I really love how you've done the cloak. I guess it is to reflect the Caliban forests? The effect is absolutely outstanding!

Actually I didn't have in mind caliban forests when I was doing the cloak but it's a cool idea ! I am glad that I created sth that reflects different things to others....now when I look on the cloak I start to see the old forests of Caliban myself

Maybe someday I will enter armies on parade but not golden demon. I'll have to finish an army first and this will take a while...
Lion unfortunately is not for sale. I appreciate that you would like to buy him but I paint models only for myself. I do not have enough time to paint and accept commisions, I have a huge pile of models that are waiting to be painted and I struggle with time to do that. hope you understand

Oh man, I love Lucius' armour. That transition from the purpley colour to the magenta is... exquisite. I would say perfect but that's probably a sore point for the Emperor's Children. 
All three models are brilliant. I like how you pulled the saturation down on the models on the base. Even though yellow and red are generally very vibrant you've dialled it back so the character doesn't get lost in all the extra details on the base.
