In a couple of the other forums, there are pages that let the community know what you've been up to with that specific army.  Project updates, purchases, builds, painting, games etc...  so thought it might be a cool idea to start one here if the mods don't mind.

So, to get things rolling... Today, I bought Kaldor Draigo and received a delivery of bits that will see me make a Psycannon-wielding Paladin along with another Paladin.

Just need to get all the bodies and bits together to see what I'll have when it's done!

Today, my Grey Knights were ambassadors to the game of 40k, enticing my brother to decide to get into the game, thus agreeing to be smashed by the fist of the emperor. =D

Nice!

Today,I built my second Libby for my army. Got pretty much everything I want for them now (2 noteable exceptions are the Forgeworld Dreadnoght & Land Raider)

Decision needs making though.... Do I keep my Storm Raven for use with the Space marine army in the stormwing formation or do I dontate it to the grey knights?

GKs could probably do with it more due to lack of diversity in list building but it is a huge point sink

Today my GKs sat in their box being pushed back further in the paint queue :-\

They're next.... (I hope)

I must admit I'm getting more and more tempted to do that...

Today, my GK razorback with psycannons got built. I had an old door lot knocking about for it but it didn't fit properly so I've added another FW one to my 'to guy's list. Fingers crossed and finances allowing, I'll get that ordered at the end of the month along with the FW dreadnought...or at least a couple of the dread arms

Today I continued painting my first dreadknight, got the pilot legs and torso finished and dreadknight legs. Now just need to work on the main body and arms/weapons!!

Was hoping to have it done over the Christmas holidays, so I could start my paladin squad but was a little to busy with family and prior arrangements!

Hoping to have dreadknight finished within the next week or so!!

Today I remembered to post that my "Tale of Some Gamers"* vow I made on New Years day includes some hefty Grey Knight reinforcements including a Dreadknight, 2 Librarians, 10 Interceptors & 5 Purifiers.

I also clipped all my GK bitz off the sprue into my handy new storage box to try and save some space. Sooooo many purity seals!

* "Tale of Some Gamers" is my gaming group's annual modelling/painting challenge thing. Usually involves everyone painting at least some stuff and much mickey taking when vows are failed. Wobbly pics of mini's tend to appear at various points during the year.

Today, I received the Forgeworld Dreadnought body in the post and got confirmation that my first painted batch should all be ready and with me by midweek.  I have some of the models already, but just waiting on a few finishing touches on the rest.

Now, all I need are 2 dreadnought arms and a Vortimer Landraider Redeemer and my 3000 point force will be complete!

Discussed their plans for facing the Tyranid menace on monday, which includes the reconsecration (painting) of their armour, with the formed battle plan not including the dreadknight.
Been having fun with my olf Grey knight dreadnought recently, so much so I'm thinking of repainting my metal venrable one as son of titan or maybe ordering a second fw one.

I love how GW creates the Warp Talon to be some sort of super-powered Raptor, and instead it's become the king-of-all-kitbashes.

Today my GK got some allies in the glorious form of fellow Space Marines. After facing hard match ups against really really shooty Tau armies, the call for aid was sent and one particular chapter responded by sending a small task force of drop pod, scout squad with their Landspeeder Storm, and squad of Centurion Devastators to bring magnificent graviton technology into the fray. Leading the reinforcements is none other than accomplished and famous Ultramarines chief Librarian Tigurius. This pleases Grandmaster Draigo in such a force he plops out of warp to offer his aid in coming campaign.

I understand centstar has fallen from its glory days, but idea is amusing to me. A small elite force acting as scalpel in the midst of all these shooty monsters sounds fun to play.

I'm sure they will once they're built and at least got some paint on them! I shall post tales of their honorable deeds when I get to play them. Suffer not the xeno to live.

Today (well yesterday) my grey knights got beaten by daemons. A sad day for Titan!

It was a good game and my first against daemons. We went to turn 5 before I called it a day...we had one objective each and linebreaker but he'd scored slay the warlord and first blood.

Fun times were had though

Crikey, it's a rare day that daemons manage to get first blood. Unlucky mate and it's all a learning experience, next time he won't be so fortunate

Wow. You don't often see this. We just have so many weapons against them... banishment built in, force weapons, and anti-psychics.

I have to ask what was he playing? The new Daemon Decurion? Or a CAD? What was so strong in the list?

Okay... what ability was that? It must have been equivalent to a Destroyer 6 or 'removed from play'?

I am incredibly bad when it comes to Daemons...shameful I know as to slay the enemy you must first know the enemy....

Today my GK assembled to face their fate against either Tau or Raptors space marines. Using the strict tournament comp I have talked about in army list forums so no NSF for me. FML.

Hey. I don't mean to be difficult, it's just we have so many advantages against 'daemons' of any sort before the dice start rolling. I was just curious why it went poorly for you. :)

Today my GK might finally find their way out of my GW cases. ;)

One of my daughters' schoolfriends' Dad is a heavy 'Nid collector (hundreds and hundreds of them.  More big bugs than I have GKT I think!).  Found out he's eager for a match. :)

We all feel different ways about different rules, but if you're traveling between different gaming groups or to tournaments, the only commonality is the rules as they are written. If you can get your opponent to agree with you on house-ruling something then that changes things, but until then all we can do is go by how things are written.

Didn't cross my mind mate, know you're not difficult!

I know, when I said I'd be playing GKs, I thought he'd have gone away from the Daemon idea, but it proved to be a pretty fluffy battle...apart from the end result!  I should have taken more pics and done a proper battle report.   But alas...
