I've been thinking of doing so ever since the Mk. II/III power weapon sets were released, even though I'm yet to purchase one :D If you're going to cut it, leave about a fist-length below the hand. As a practicioner of Eskrima, we learn that that's where you always want to hold the stick, and the same should apply to a maul. Choke the stick too low, you can't hit with any power. Don't know what I was thinking, but he looks much better and now actually looks as though he is striding. Will try to get photos up tonight. I will recraft fluff so it will meet the standard it deserves. He will be striding to war though As a of now I'm sticking him in my Legion Caliver support squad with my siege breaker until I have a more befitting unit for him. An anchor of the field. You honour me, dude - what goes around comes around, I've had some great ideas arise from the talent on B&C and if you've got some ideas of your own off my offerings then I'm happy. I really like the model so far, how's the progress on him coming? Would love to hear more of your fluff ideas for him - might help with the naming process too. I'm just waiting for the falax blade so I can "assemble" him and then get him painted. I am drawing blanks on fluff. Part of it is because he is incomplete, which will hopefully be solved next week. Going to hike some parts of the AT in Vermont this weekend so a much needed hobby break. In my mind his manner will be as blunt as a sledgehammer. Hehe.Glad you like Pheidias. It was awesome, definitely made a few tactical errors. I've learned a bit more on my own units rules, especially the scorpius. Since everyone uses the same rules we all know what's going on. It's lovely. I have done another game since then. Played someone's Iron Warriors. Got steam rolled but made them earn it in blood. MVP of the game was my volkite caliver squad. They pumped out some serious whoopin. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures... For shame. As far as the Herald goes. I have to touch up his highlights. I've been working on a new project and moved so my focus on progress pictures has vanished... My bad. But will change that soon. I'm actually helping to run and create a HH escalation league at our local shop. Set after Istvaan. I'm going to be updating this thread soon in fact. With a wee teaser.
