I saw that on sale and I can say that looks pretty cool, showed a mate as well and he likes the look of it as well. Could also prove pretty cool if we can get people together to play it.

Also realised payday tomorrow, no clues to what I am buying tomorrow...

Erebus is also included in the PC/Mac version of the game on Steam, so please download today's update to start taking on Loyalists with this new powerful Warlord.

Erebus is one of the most prominent members of the Word Bearers Legion and a member of the Dark Council of Sicarus. He was the harbinger of the Horus Heresy, instrumental in converting first Lorgar and then Horus to Chaos.

About Talisman: The Horus Heresy

Talisman: The Horus Heresy is a digital board game based on the Talisman rule system and set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, during the cataclysmic events of the Horus Heresy.

Up to four players will be able to take control of one or more of the galaxy’s greatest heroes or most notorious villains. Taking the side of either traitor or loyalist, these Warlords will form vast companies of Space Marines, battalions of tanks and battlefleets of Spacecraft. They are the most powerful beings in the Galaxy and their followers are legion.

The new combative team play will appeal to fans of Talisman and the Horus Heresy alike. It’s a unique adaptation of Talisman that has been tailored specifically for digital platforms.

In Talisman: The Horus Heresy the player’s experience of Talisman is scaled up exponentially, exploring not a kingdom but a whole galaxy in the 31st Millennium. No longer will you be fighting for the Crown of Command, but for the very future of humanity…

Command one of the eighteen Space Marine Legions that fought during the Horus Heresy

Play as one of eight of the galaxy’s greatest heroes or most notorious villains such as Robute Guilliman or Angron

Multiplayer for up to 4 players

Playing it on iOS.

Found it amusing that there's an option to pick a Horus aligned Dark Angel:

It's like 30 Talisman.

Roll a dice, move to a square, draw some encounter cards, fight some stuff, get some equipment, get stronger, slowly proceed to the inner circle of the board to the Vngeful Spirit, kill the Emperor or protect him. The main goal is to get strong enough and get to the center of the map.

Each Warlord character you can pick to play has different abilities. Encounter cards can be enemies you fight, or equipment you can get, allies that you can recruit, or just some random stuff. There are squares on the board that also represent specific locations like Nikea or Darvin or Propero, etc. that have different stuff happen.

The cool thing is they have all the 30k stuff represented as Warlords, encounters, or equipment or events, etc. You can play most of the Primarchs, or if not at least a Praetor of the Legion and also some of their seconds (Khârn, Sevatar, Sigismund, Loken, Alexis, etc.). Then there's Solar Aux, Ogryns, Mechanicum Thrall, Warlord Titans, Warhound Titans, Knights, Legion Troops, Predators, Land Raiders, Rhinos, Legion Command, all the special units of each Legion, Raptors, Storm Eagles, Thunderhawks, Assassins, Legio Custodes, Daemons, and the list goes on......
