Phalanx Warder Posted February 11, 2016 Share Posted February 11, 2016 This list looks like it can bring the pain but if you are playing anything other than kill points then you are going to be pressed to cover objectives with so few Marines. Also take the laser destroyers on the Glaive as they can kill tanks better than regular las cannons. Other than that you know how your list plays and the addition of a Glaive will only enhance your game, but play it to its strengths and go after as much infantry as possible Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PastelAvenger Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Love this, 2600pt list just so the Glaive can get Armoured Ceramite haha I would personally drop a Sicaran and beef up your troops 26 models just seems low to me. On super heavies I prefer the w quad lascannons I'm sure there is some math hammer around saying they are better I might be wrong though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Caillum Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Yeah, quad lascannons are better - 2 TL shots at S9 is better than 1 TL shot at S9 with Ordnance. Also, they have more range. It's a shame, as on a Super-heavy there's no ramifications for using Ordnance weapons unlike on a Spartan. List is cool. Tactical squads to grab easy/home objectives and the Templar to go after hard/enemy ones. :) Something to remember is that quad launchers have been updated. The details are in the Weekender thread, but basically you only get frag shells for the same price, +5 for incendiary shells, +10 for shatter shells, +10 for splinter, and (if you have a Siege Breaker) +20 for phosphex canister shot.
