Greetings Brothers,

I just wanted to change things up for a quick moment to inform anyone interested that a new overview and gameplay trailer has recently been released for the upcoming Space Hulk: Deathwing video game. It's very exciting; I mean, it's a AAA standalone game starring our favorite army ! I totally feel inspired to get cracking on my painting again biggrin.png

Anyway, feel free to check it out here. Cheers~

The game looks sick!  It is really cool how the MoR glows.  You play as a Librarian in the game but you are allowed to take a storm shield... what?!?!

It's been a while since i spent money on video games, but this is going to be so awesome biggrin.png would like to try BFG armada too smile.png

It's not worthwhile to buy it now, since the discount is already gone. I'll probably pick that one up during the Steam summersales.

EDIT: Ignore that post. I watched some trailers, and bought the game 5 minutes later anyway...

Yes; there are Xenos, they must die!

This is 40k after all smile.png

My only complaint is a pedantic quibble I fully admit... but shouldn't the squad size be 5, not 4?

cause its coming to consoles and console coop shooters cant work with anything higher then 4 people due to local control limits. you could in theory just give them a 5th AI member but now were talking about potentially making the game very linear and handling because AI dudes basically give everything away, spoiling fun and surprises. in payday for example the AI bots practically telegraph when a specialist police officer bloody spawns without even being in line of sight or anything. one time an AI partner of mine spotted a sniper cop spawning through two layers of solid wall, across the street and 8 floors off the ground. ho hum seems legit

Er...I'm pretty sure I saw 5 models...a librarian and a squad of four deathwing terminators. So your theory wouldn't be the reason. I think the game designers just screwed up and treated the libby as a super-sergeant.

It could be that there just sticking to 4 and the librarian can be tagged for a sarge instead

The reality is that no console game has 5 player co op it's been 4 offline and 6+ online never some weird number like 5 or 3

Payday 1/2

Space marine

Left 4 dead

End times vermintide

Gundam breaker (Asia)

D&D chronicles of mystara

I challenge you to find a 5 player coop game on consoles go I welcome it (unless the game has a higher theoretical number like 8 or 10 or whathaveyou).

To be honest I'll be pretty stoked if it does turn out to be 5 player co-op.

All throughout Destiny we seemed to have 5 guys playing most of the time and having to pick up a random to do the raid content had knobs on it.

Having said that, at least this game will have the facility for the AI to pick up the slack if you're down players.

Can't wait to sink my teeth into it!
