I have a bit of a dilemma.

I should have my first vow (Dante) finished within a week and was planning on doing Lemartes next but I'm also tempted by Gerantius... Dante has taken me over a month but that is mainly because I didn't really start working on him in earnest till about two weeks into the ETL - so he will have taken about four weeks in total to complete.

Question is do I go low risk and pledge Lemartes or go balls out and commit to finishing Gerantius in what will be the seven remaining weeks?!

Knights are easier than you think... if you have an airbrush.  Speaking of which, here is my weekly-ish update: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302126-lucumons-blood-angels-task-force/page-3?do=findComment&comment=4423147

I think my next vow will be a Predator with Lascannon.

That awkward moment when you've had a typo for the whole time and didn't notice. :/

I do indeed have an airbrush... Yours are looking really good, and the process pics are really useful. I'll have a look back through your thread and that will help me assess workload...

Ah I see what you mean :)

I'll take some step-by-step pics when I do them but basically they (and the axe blade) are basecoated now dark blue (looks black in the pic but it's actually Vallejo Model Air 'Insignia Blue'). I'll mask everything off and then spray a circle of Light Sea Blue in the centre, and a smaller circle of white in the centre of that. Then some white edge highlights and done :)

If in doubt balls out! Mostly becuse i really wanna see your finished knight. Secondly for all the points its gonna bring to the pledge.

I'm using the "new" jump chaplain model to proxy - just swapped the Infernus for a Forge World bolt pistol. It shouldn't take long really... I'm leaning towards doing Gerantius, then if I have time for a third vow I can squeeze in Lemartes.

As Jonke said, we could use the points...

Already started poking my second vow, though I'll be doing less unfortunately as work has gotten very busy. Still, better than no vows at all! msn-wink.gif
