BOOM! Khorne Daemonkin Spartan FINISHED

This finishes my ETL vow, but I´ll post a true ´vow finished post' tomorrow, with a picture of all the units in the vow. It´s dark out now, so wide angel shots won´t give good results atm.

I Razblood, something something DARK SIDE, something something COMPLETE! do hereby vow to complete -

10 x Havocs (Mark of Nurgle, Autocannon, Lascannon, 2 x Missile Launchers, Combi Flamer)

5 x Possessed (Mark of Nurgle, Gift of Mutation), 10 x Plague Bearers (Plague Ridden, Plague Banner, Instrument)

1 x unit of Nurglings (3 x bases)

Typhus

for a grand total of 815pts for the greater glory of the Chaos forum and y'know victory and all that jazz this vow will be completed before the tolling of the final bell on the 15th August 2016 lest I am forced to wear the brand of failure which is the mark of Oathbreaker for the term of one full year hence.

Success - I've finally built all four Knights! I've left things modular where possible, and off where I can for ease of painting. Depending on the weather, can hopefully get those sprayed either tomorrow night or Tuesday, and then I can really crack on.

All the humans are completed. I'm currently working on the World Eaters. They should be achieved in two weeks, alongside my Chaos Lord. NExt vow will be smaller in order to increase completion rate. The Iron Warriors will be deployed in vow 4.

Although there have been no updates, I am currently progressing through my 2nd vow. The Daemon Prince is done as are the Spawn. I am working on the last member of the 5 man Chaos Marine squad and then I will just have the Rhino to do. I am to finish my 2nd vow by the end of the week.

 

Have no fear I will be vowing a third and fourth time, I already have the models sorted

from Imperial Armour 13 (IA13), and Codex Khorne Daemonkin (KDK)

the below-mentioned units with a total value of 730 points on or before August 15th, 2016.

Success will bring eternal glory to

the 59th Echelon World Eaters Daemonkin "Blood for the Blood God!",

the 26th Grand Company Iron Warriors "We shall grind you to dust on the anvil of war."',

and to

the 47th Company Night Lords "We have come for you...",

while failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oath Breaker until the year-end.

1x Sicaran Battle Tank with Lascannons, Armoured Ceramite, and Malefic Ammunition = 235 pts

One small nitpick, though: Remember to go back and add those touchups to the Souldgrinder's and Bloodthirster's respective faces, alright? It would be a shame otherwise.

Nitpick all you want. I'm on the ETL train and it doesn't stop. I did promise to go back to them, but for ETL purposes, they´re finished. The Bloodthirster and Soul grinder need some detailing in their faces, plus most vehicles need weathering. They´re more than playable as they are right now, and could score high in my local tournament scene painting competition. That´s what I´m painting for, so biggrin.png I have promised to go back to them, so I shall. Just not before the 15th of August... ;)

Good to see you back, buddy! And don't worry: completion is all that truly matters. The completion of your hefty vow of 3000 points is most welcome and anticipated!!! Just focus on its completion. :tu: :)

Update: The rhino is complete, though I may revisit later to darken the red down some more. All that is left to do on the Plague Marines is to apply rust effect on the weapons and do the bases. Should have Vow 1 done this weekend.

I'm not saying I won´t get back to them, but as they are now, they are good enough to be put in my local shop´s main display. That´s the quality I set for myself for each ETL. If I put my utmost in each miniature before moving on to something else, I will never get anything painted! Diversity is key for my hobby mojo. I can and will go back to some miniatures )face detaisl on SG and BT, and weathering on all KDK vehicles', and put updates in my WiP, just not before the 15th. :D :tu:
