Brother Kortmer - Really want to see more Renegade Guards, there looking really cool.

 

Sadily few photos didn't turn out to well or to blurry.  But vow 2 almost complete, hopeful have this sorted by the weekend.  Pretty much have everything for the Black Legion force painted by Friday (all going to plan).  Then going spend Sunday, Monday & Tuesday just adding any finial details & just allow me to see everything with fresh eyes.  My friend aim on useing the Black Legion warband in a tournament in two & a half week & I'm going to get a army photo.

Then another two Battle Brother for this unit of Chosen that will get painted tomorrow.  Also with my bitz box order arrive today, spend a little bit of time converting the Bolter arm Battle Brother for the unit.  Depend how it goes with the Black Legion force, then the Bolter model might possible get painted on Friday.

I also need to remind person that my gaming club to bring the Thunder Wolves power axe so I can build the Champion for this unit.

Some really positive progress today, I've done all of the green parts (mainly trim or shoulders) on the troops, as well as doing all the bits of black (e.g. weapons and cabling) and metal (weapons, studs, rebreathers) . I've done pouches, grenades, and leg cables too, and the flesh on the few that needed it! Tomorrow, I can focus on the trim and bases, before washing and final detailing. Sprayed the remaining Dreads, and the Deredeos have had all their metal work done, and some token green to tie them in nicely for the Death Guard scheme. Daemon Prince has been started, and is looking worse for wear in my traditional yellow scheme.

 

Feeling positive about the vow, more to come tomorrow!

Iron Warriors and Darkwolves done. Start the Guard tomorrow. Or the day after, might take a day off and watch Band of Brothers and a few World at War documentarys to get me juiced up for painting my meatshield.

I lost over a month of painting time due to moving and my new job, so it looks like I won't make 5 vows this year. However, I should finish my vow and soul vow before I leave for vacation a week before the end.

Also, sorry I haven't been able to track models this year. I'll try to get a total done by 2-3 weeks afterwards though.

I Thamier rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete 5 chaos terminators of khorne!! from the khorne demonkin codex of total value 267 (2 powefists 4 combiplas 1 reaper autocannon, 3 chainfists and mark of khorne) on or before August 15th, 2016. Success will bring eternal glory to Balefire Legion! and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end

I tried the Thousand Sons scheme with all this rumors about Tzeentch. I did not do the base because I am waiting for the store to get the GW bases kit for 40k.

I thought I was done with the ETL for this year but perhaps I have one last vow in me...

I, Kierdale, hereby make my fourth vow of this year's ETL to complete the following model by August 15th:

One Herald of Slaanesh with one greater reward (the lash of despair) and the Locus of Beguilement (you'll see that in her base), from Codex: Chaos Daemons, for 95 points.

The dark elf Wych models have one straight leg and one bent leg. I wondered what I could do if I gave a model two of one type of leg...a diving pose? Then I had an idea...

From this pile of Guardian bits (and perhaps more) shall come her base, which will raise her (quite literally) above her sister Daemonettes and alluresses...

I myself have been massively slacking on  my vow: my relationship ended somewhat abruptly last friday and I've been on an enormous bender since then. I'll try to start the Daemon Lord of Tzeentch/C'Thulhu this weekend. No worries though, I'll finish the vow on time. My only concern is not getting around to five, making my Soul Vow of total 6000 points, and being beaten by Kurama.

Holy wow fantastic work from everyone! You people are insane! It just goes on and on! I'm feeling extremely motivated by you all! Blood for the Blood God! Vows for the Vow throne! So this is how chaos does it! The Victory is belong to us!

 

I should have finished my DP up this week but I've been slack. I'll get him done over the weekend and make more vows. I might strip Abaddon and vow him again, and maybe the JEs Godwyn Chaos Lord aswell. I don't think two weeks is long enough to get my termies done...

 

I want to grab another lead miniature for the army, just hunting for the right one, strangely I really want to use Ezekiel for my Sorcerer...
