I'm sticking to my weekly update schedule... knowing that I'm limiting myself to only one update a week pushes me to make significant progress on my minis, lest it looks like I didn't do anything all week.

-Iron Hands Predator (Heavy Bolter sponsons) - 95 pts

-10 man Chainveil Greandier Squad (Lasrifles, Power Axe on Sergeant) - 85 pts

-5 man Chainveil Recon Team (Sniper Rifles, Cameleoline, Melta Bombs on Sergeant) - 100 pts

-2 Chainveil Discipline Masters (Needle Pistol, Power Weapon, Refractor Field on each) - 74 pts

-Chainveil Force Commander (Cyber-Familiar, Power Weapon, Plasma Pistol) - 80 pts

 

So many models, and only 604 points...

Urgh.

I love Titans, but I hate building them. That said, here's the Aedifex Perditae, all built (minus the cabling- not excited to do that...)

And here she is primed. I still need to build the base up, and add some details and those censored.gif -ing cables, but I can finally see a light at the end of this 750 point tunnel. blink.png

Negligible progress for 2 weeks but progress all the same. Ideally looking to get the Ultramarine contingent finished by the weekend. Then I shall have a stab at the VIII Legion

So I've come down with a head cold thanks to the coming of winter; and today I decided to start really getting into my betrayal at calth boxes, haven't even built the full contents of 2 boxes yet.

So I have built;

40× Tactical

20× Dispoilers

5× Autocannons

5× missile launchers

5× breachers

5× recons

10× Terminators with Lightning claws

4× Apothecaries

2× techmarines

3× contemptors

2× praetors

1× chaplain

Still got so much censored.gif to assemble

Edit: it's awfully quiet guys.... it's reminiscent of last etl when people started procrastinating and we ended up losing etl iv.... I know it's only week 3 but come on let's try get some wips and vows going to motivate your Brothers in arms!

The Potato has passed his exam. The Potato will finish pledge #1 this weekend. The Potato will then pledge a further 3k points. The Potato cannot be stopped. The Potato is inevitable. The Potato is now considering trying to scrub his Salamander Tartaros terminators and repaint them as World Eaters for ETL.

Congrats on passing the test. This outweighs the ETL by far!

I actually haven't painted much latelly because Total War Warhammer and final exams don't blend well time wise... But I'm starting to paint more and have 3 justaerin on the way. Once that's done it's just 5 reavers to go and then vow 2, which I don't know if it will be 3000 points or if I should take a safer vow (this is still my first ETL). What do you guys think? I'm pretty sure I can paint more than 3000 points but should I risk it?

Go on, try it. I'll be waiting at the other end, heavy bolter and everything!

I still think the Warhound is the most beautiful Titan. May not the biggest or the most impressive - but it's soooo nice! Keep going Ninja - there is no respite!

Just some well-meant feedback for you history freaks: get your top scorer Kurama in line. He's been spending such an awful lot of time in the Chaos strategium, I'm afraid he has confused the boring aftermath of your failed Heresy with the Ten Thousand Years of Chaotic glory (and dancing) following it. I can only guess as to the causes, but it might have something to do with the fact that it´s super boring here and it´s super fun in our club. :p  He's even thinking of switching sides. Just so you know.

But for etl purposes I can't do Deamons until fw officially announced a list.

 

And next year is still a way off after all I promised myself a break after etl.

 

Plus.... I'm no Traitor I'm just easily swayed to a more challenging environment after all auggie is my rival and I know ill never beat him but a man can dream

Last miniature painted before my honeymoon. Was going to post a picture of it during (as I took this about 10 minutes before leaving) but my phone didn't seem to like trying to post pictures on here. My first of 2 Knights Errant (yeah I know its not mk6, but I prefer mk3)

Now I'm back and can carry on with my 2nd vow - including the 2 squads of grenadiers using Anvil Industry regiment models.

Betrayal is outdated, unfortunately. That should be 237 points.

Are you sure? I just checked Battlescribe (your resource, mind) and on there the loadout comes to 227. Was there a repricing I was not aware of?
