Work on the bathroom has finished, so just finishing up cleaning the whole house then I should be moving back in tomorrow then I'll be able to get back to work with my Knight. As long as I have the paints needed and they aren't ruined, as I haven't used them for a while....

Captain, it looks like 500 points according to Battlescribe if I go for the following options:

 

Veteran Tactical Squad: Veteran Sergeant with power weapon, 9 x veterans, one with flamer one with heavy bolter. Also Legion vexilla.

 

Veteran Tactical Squad: Veteran Sergeant with power weapon, 9 x veterans, one with melta gun, one with missile launcher. Also legion vexilla.

 

I believe all that to be correct and legal, but I am less familiar currently with the rules in LACAL than I am with the 40k stuff... if anyone can correct me please do.

 

Edited to swap a melta for a missile launcher and points revised up to 500

1x Angron, Sire of the World Eaters = 400 Points
1x Centurion with the Primus Medicae Upgrade, Artificier Armour and a Refractor Field = 105 Points
1x Centurion with the Herald Upgrade and Artificier Armour = 100 Points
1x Legion Tactical Squad with a Nuncio Vox and the Sergeant armed with a Combi-Weapon and Artificier Armour = 180 Points
1x Legion Veteran Squad with a Heavy Bolter and Suspensor Web and a Sergeant with a Power Fist, Artificier Armour and a Plasma Pistol = 185 Points
1x Legion Command Squad with Two(2) additional marines, combat shield for each of the five and 3 Powerweapons = 195 Points
 
and a Out-Of-Competition-Entry: a half squad of Assault Marines(No points as it does not count).
 
All in all: 1655 Points!
 
A note on the Command Squad: There is no actual Banner in that squad as ordained by the LACAL entry. I have instead opted out to give them Breacher Shields (Which also serve for all purposes of Combat Shields), which will sport the livery of the Iron Warrior Legion and Horus himself. There is also a Melta armed Astartes in that squad, he serves as the banner bearer for all game purposes and the Melta has not been listed in any points related manner as a command squad cannot take such guns.

The Cataphractii is the test model for the unit of 5, his 4 brothers mostly done, but I decided to ditch the dual claws on the rest and add bolters!

 

The Sicaran is pretty much done, but I'm adding more chips -- I might re-highlight bits too.

Might I ask what colours you used for the armour? You've got some lovely NMM style going on.

Base coated Kantor Blue, blended up to Ceramite White, and shaded with glazes of Abaddon Black.

 

The bronze is a base of Sycorax Bronze,highlighted to Runefang Steel with some spot highlights of Ceramite White, shaded with Doombull Brown and then a thin hit of Abbadon Black for the darkest areas.

I miss the old-style Raptor jump packs so much; I really hope they re-release a set with them at some stage. Forge World or Games Workshop.

 

That said, the rest of the parts for my Word Bearers arrived today. I just need to scavenge some additional parts from my Chaos Warriors, Marauder Knights and Chaos Knights boxes and then I'll throw up a before post.

Just a quick update on the Aedifex Perditae

 

She sits at ~65-70% done now, just need to do the cleanup, washes, highlights, stripes and details. And the base...still figuring that one out.

I know, I was lucky to have enough for the two squads....new ones are too gribbly for my liking. The sleek lines are just perfect. Might head back to the bay for more in time!
