BTs in M32

Hey there,

I got a question and where to ask and get the best answers if not here. :)

I'm enjoying the Black Templars for quite a while and therefore I'm working on a Knight Household (House Valcorian) which theme is basicely a mixture of BTs and Warcrafts Scarlet Crusade in Knights. Ok, it is a bit more complex and a long story but what is imortant is that they are close allies of the BT as they had discovered them. The BTs zeal, believes and so on are adapted by the Knights.

And that is where my question sets in.

As the Knights were discovered during the Time of Forging (M32-34), how should I depict the BTs? Like the zealous fanatics of the latest editions or more like the IFs of the Heresy books?

Was it all about charging or did they use multiple types of units as they are continuing the Great Crusade?

Did they allready started several crusades at that time? Was Sigismund still alive (have read somewhere that he lived for thousand years or so)?

Though I'm maybe asking for more than I actually need but I want to follow the canon and be reasonable. :)

Praise the Emperor!

A good guideline would probably be the beast arises books if you aren't interested in the series reading the Black Templar parts of the novel Throneworld should help you.

Also keep in mind that each crusade is led by a different Marshal so they could lean in either direction depending on what you need.

Best of luck moving forward with yer project.

Thank you, Bladewolf.

Don't have that book and I don't know if it would make sense to obtain it just for a couple of pages.

Can someone give me a short recap or a slight glimpse of how they are during this crisis?

Completely forgot about the beast. It gives me a great background for their first egagement as servants of the Emperor: Capt'n Blackjaw, freebooter of the Beast

At the side of Marshal Heinrich and his Templar, lady Tyria Valcorian faces her first challenge of House Valcorians new leader. Will she be worthy enough to fill the gap her fathers sacrifice, to defend his people, left behind?
