Space marine, DOW 2 and Freeblade!

Space marine is the tiniest bit clunkier than i had expected, but viscerally very satisfying so far.

Haven't played down yet. (I played the demo on a friend's PC years ago tho, so super excited to jump into it)

I'll probably get to play DOW 3 in about 5 years time!

Space Marine is so much fun on the first play through.

I came back to it a few years later and tried hard mode but I could not quite "git gud" enough... Though, still being able to take damage while you do executions to heal HP just felt unfair :(

Just so I don't go thru the dow 2 campaign and fail to equip all 3 suits of terminator armour. What units can wear them and what state needs to be to what level to be sure they can wear it... my Google fu is weak on this one

After playing Space Marine online against other hoomans playing the campaign was painfully easy even on the hardest setting. That being said it's a fun campaign and I unlocked almost every damn weapon's upgrades in online play sooooo....a bit of time spent on it.

As for DoW2 TDA, just fight out all the missions and you'll get all the Terminator armour. I never found I waited long to use any in my possession but I often saved the disposable items to boost xp in times of (equipment) needs.

The Force Commander, Tarkus, Avitus and Thaddeus can all equip TDA. The FC and Tarkus can do so w/o any training. Avitus and Thaddeus will require spending xp in the Stamina and Melee skills respectively.

Theyll both be over rank 10 by the time you get there unless you pour all xp in the specific skill tree. I don't recommended doing that though.

I recommend specializing in melee or ranged skills though. Doing both does not add much.

Well yeah. Avitus should sink majority into range and Thaddeus should do the same with melee. But if the OP wants TDA for either of these two they'll have to spend xp in the other trees as well. Hence my recommendation.

Ok. This is pissing me off. When you stun and execute a nob, what do you do to win the struggle.

Internet says keep hitting execute (e) some places. Others it saws keep hitting melee (mouse 2) which is it? And I've been hitting him with shoulder stun mostly. Yes I know fury helps, but I want to know how to kill him without fury.

iirc, its a QTE (quick time event) and I think the input required can change halfway through.

Nobs never really posed a problem for me since you can stun lock (shoulder charge, roll back, shoulder charge) them permanently if you were so inclined but otherwise, aim for their big 'ol heads while kiting them or bring out the thunderhammer for the easiest kills.

Another tip is with plasma weapons especially the infinite ammo plasma pistol, is to basically spam the vent button as fast as you can while you fire as fast as possible. Means you can lay down an impressive amoun of shots over a period of time without ever having stop shooting due to overheat of any kind of you get the technique down.

Well. If it tells you what to push and when, then I haven't seen it...

Oh, I know there are lots of ways to kill them. But I want to know exactly how to kill them thru the struggle, and I'm not sure what to do since it hasn't worked...

Ok thanks. I think I was undecided and hitting mouse 2 and e...

So wait.. it's the button for shoot? That's kind of confusing isn't it? No wonder I couldnt figure it out. And I don't recall them explaining it either...

You get used to it pretty fast, honestly. Sure, I would have preferred it to be the same  input as Melee Attacks but, hey.

You shoot a Grenade then press the (I think) reload button to detonate them, 1 key press per detonation.

You can place up to 5 at one time and they blow up Oldest -> Recent.

They Stick to surfaces to you can use them like mines or airburst them.
