These are beyond amazing. Spending the equal of $50 and having a ton of great looking littler than normal dudes that look great. Now the only thing I can't imagine is adapting these guys to my favorite tabletop strategy boardgame.... Does anyone have any initial ideas?

You've presumably not heard of Epic, then?

there's also some rule (old now) for "pocket 40k".

haven't done a whole lot of research for this but it was a thing.  basically 6mm scale models played with standard 40k rules.

i don't play guard or orks but i'm still compelled to get some. any chance you will have any of the other factions with similar sprues?

Nothing planned for the near future. Plastic is a big investment, so don't expect plastic Novan Elites anytime soon.

However, perhaps they'll change their minds, depending on the sales of course.

Little announcement from Vanguard Miniatures:

Design work finished on the first of a new faction for Defeat in Detail. This faction will be called "The Tainted" and will consist of renegade and traitor forces from existing DiD ranges.

First up will be these tainted novan regulars which will see release in a few months time.

I'm sorry, I must have been looking in the wrong category? There appear to be multiple sellers on this site and some of them are way over-priced by the actual DiD miniatures seem much more reasonable.

Novan Elites – Forefront Platoon B (on foot):

Novan elite forefront platoons without jump packs are transported in armoured assault vehicles of various types as the situation demands.

This B type configuration equips the elites with heavy guage pistols and shear swords the standard armamant of forefront units.

Pack contains 40 figures.

Gregster's Lab and Onslaught are rather pricey compared to the items you showcase in this thread, but I didn't realize they were like separate from the actual DiD selection when I was searching through the whole store.

I don't want to start everyone begging and wish-listing again, but can you share with us any info or what exactly you will be producing in 15mm... as I could really see myself using 15mm models to do a 30k or 40k version of Flames of War, it's something I've been thinking about forever, but I don't want to buy a bunch of infantry to find that's all you're ever going to make.

Vanguard is part of a community that hubs out of TacComms. You're likely to get more response lobbying over there.

But you can share your ideas here as well, I can pass them on to John (the guy running Vanguard Miniatures) for you.

Well there are more plans to expand Vanguard Miniatures' (or VGM for short) 15mm range. The Skinnerz have just gotten a new unit.

We are thinking about doing a 15mm version of the Centurion Main Battle Tank, but I can't give you an ETA on that one.

What units would you like to see?
