Turns out this will be a 3 wave release, for today the heads (10 sets), torsos (3 sets) and legs (5 sets) are live. Arms and weapons will be in 2 - 3 weeks according to the site.
Some of my favourites:
Clearly useful for Guard, Cultists (I feel like the Balaclava heads are crying out for use as Alpha Legion operatives), Imperial Militia, Inquisititorial Acolytes, gangers etc,
Some of the heads might find use in marine armies, one of the sets looks hairy enough for Space Wolves.

Resisting the urge to start a small, elite guard army based around Stargate's SG-1 and the other teams...

8% of teenagers dont listen to rap and 2% havnt tried pot OR drinking... and an even smaller percentage of people actually feel the need to bolster their own self-esteem by putting a spin on being rhythmicly challenged and having no social life.
100% of your base are belong to us.
50% of marines apparently get lost in the warp. If only the guy who came up with that plot had gotten lost in the warp first.

We'll have to wait for the next wave to find out, but, given Anvil's track record, it'll be fine.

Now you've done it.
SG-1 guard army needs to happen.
Bring a Voss Lightning or two for F302 support.
A KSG? That's something I never expected to see in 28mm. Looks like my Arbites will be getting a shotgun swap.

Penance crusade to follow
I have a lot of sympathy for the Mantis Warriors. They've had to endure some of the worst events in WH40k. The Badab War, the Tyranid incursions, C.S. Goto. The worst.

@NTaW Brother, you owe me a keyboard. Indeed!
I do what I can
Genuinely considering doing a team for Shadow War of SG-1 and SG-?? as support but getting the heads right will be.....tricky.

Actually some of the gun Makers think it is pretty damned cool to see their product on miniatures.

That won't last long.
Heckler & Koch issued a Cease & Desist order against a company that produced third-party weaponry for LEGO a few years ago on account of them profiting off of their designs. Given AI have adapted the G36, one of H&K's most prominent rifles, I wouldn't be surprised if they issued a C&D again.

There's been a delay to Wave 2 apparently, Joel from Anvil reckons it'll be another 3 weeks. He's supe stoked, though, about their new 3D printer and has used it for test printing some of the weapons:

I don't understand why... it's not like a one inch replica is going to steal their sales...That won't last long.

Oh. Oh I can see it. SG1, backed up by Master Chief (Primaris base), remade Inquisitor Shepard, Delta Squad (use older Power Armor Marine models without shoulder pads) and Noble Team (Converted Rievers + a Primaris for Jorge).

The chapter might continue, but its heritage had been destroyed – it would never be the same again. Two Heads Talking was of the last generation of Space Marines recruited from the plains people. There would be no more.

You know they make a halo table top game, right? FFG is lunching a Star Wars one that will be a major kick in balls to 40k, too.
Your opinion is important, and someone posting here probably does care what you think. You should go tell them. Remember that it really hurts to come up with an idea you care about and have no one else care. Go care about something and tell them what you think. Now. Think of what it would have meant to you when you were young.
