2gud2bbad
Hey guys, I want to rebase my models accordingly to the Istvaan V battlefield. Is there any background information on how the earth and generally atmosphere is/looks like? I googled and the giant Forgeworld diorama doesn't really let me conclude anything. I'd like to go for a muddy touch with lots of barbed wire and equipment left there during the landing. Cheers
Calas Typhon
Black sands mostly, rocky terrain, quite mountainous. I would say this would fit the whole world over. I would expect some dark earthing too, due to the black sands and the fact there were miles upon miles of trenches and hills.
Lord_Ikka
Black sand, dark mud, something like granite rock. Monofilament razor-wire and tank traps make sense based on the Traitor Legions fortifying their positions.
2gud2bbad
Okay thanks, i'm gonna give it a go. Though i'l probably have to go a bit lighter with the mud for contrast's sake
