Pack markings are done. May go back and redo the pack leaders at a later point.

They're currently a little further along. Bases have been painted grey, details have been painted, and touch ups have began. Left to do is silver and grey touch ups, washes and weathering, then drybrushing hair and bases.

Also did a face tattoo for the pack leader. Kinda random, but it went on smooth, so I didn't fight it.

Very close to finishing my vow now, just need oils. I just want to point out that none of my Knights will be truly finished as I am still waiting on FW to release House Ærthegn transfers, when they finally get released I will go back and apply them to all the Knights, weather them and matte varnish again.

SP, those libbies and the squad look excellent - congrats on finishing them! I really like your colour palette. It's almost terracotta red.

Cody: cool bikees again - and I realize I haven't responded to your explanation of the 60MM bases. I think that is a wonderfully fluffy way to get around that ludicrous Wolf Cavalry! thumbsup.gif

Rangaman: Duuude great progress. How many Knights were you supposed to finish?

I myself have finished the Leviathan Dreadnought, so here goes:

++ Honourable Volt Gerbrandt ++

// Leviathan Siege Dreadnought attached to the Fifth Company Imperial Fists \\

++ Veteran of the Siege of Terra ++

I took a million other pictures of all angles, which can be found here in my WiP.

Thanks guys. The power sword is pretty simple. White base coat with a Mephiston Red glaze. It took alot of experimenting, but I finally found a quick and decent way to do my weapons that I actually like.

SP- almost 1000 points for the month?! You're as mad as Auggie.

Auggie- that Leviathan is boss. Especially with that custodes vexilla. Looks like it belongs with the kit.

The plan to get my lightbox set up failed, due to a copious amount of Christmas rum and general laziness, so here's my completed Interrogator Chaplain for this month's vow.

Thanks Augustus, my original list was 4 Knights which is roughly 1700points. At this rate though, i will most like add another converted Magaera Knight...or throw in some allied EC.

Next month will be the armour panels for the Castigator and Acheron and then assembly of the Atrapos.

My January vow will be the two sets of armour panels for these two Knights and possibly the assembly of the Atrapos.

Ok TWC finished to complete my December vow. I'm actually quite impressed with how quickly I got these done to a pretty good standard (if I do say so myself ). Have to thank the missus, who lets me head off to the mancave.

Anyway here are the completed Wolves

Review of Last 2 Weeks.

Completed the Praetor (well, ok – almost!) Just a base to do for him and a canvas of opinion in regards to the wing!! Plus he’s got two heads…

http://i65.tinypic.com/am60m0.jpg

Completed the Terminators! Whoo Hoo! Well, OK, I will add OSL to the plasma gum and go back and battle damage them…. But but, in my defence I have magnetized an arm so the special weapon guy can have an autocannon, all the bolters are magnetized, as at the heads, so they can be turned slightly.

Just need to hit them with some satincote to take down the gloss post decals and pinwash. I’ve got the other 2 on corks, just awaiting the bases to dry following the final wash…. I'll get those pics done tomorrow, but it's late and I've run out of time!!

I’ve also been continuing a ‘test’ scheme on my ‘Vanguard Veteran’ – he’s pretty much finished but he had to take the back seat to the actual vows….

Plans for this Week.

I think I will use the respite now to get my Thousand Sons all based and finished off before considering my vows, although I really should consider them as an allied detachment…… I’m also dabbling around with some Death Guard, as I fancied a change from neat and tidy.

Future Prep.

Once I’ve done existing test marines, I’ll look to do a test of a veteran and a command squad marine!  I am also feeling the urge to do a little converting of a nice EC special Character…

I am thinking January should be the month of the Ancients…. So maybe it’s time Ancient Kurama got some paint on him! I just want to batch paint another contemptor at the same time, so keep things moving; just need to get around to modifying/converting one up….

A WolfPriest with plasma pistol @125pts, and
Two landspeeders with MultiMeltas and Typhoon Missile Launchers @ 170pts, before the 31st of January 2017.

Success glory, failure shame, blah blah blah.
