Titan Warlord

This is my Titan Warlord, of the Legio Mortis. It's very much a work in progress but with such a large and complex model, it really can't be rushed (in my opinion anyway).

At the moment it has very little battle damage or weathering, and the intention is to add both over time, perfecting the skills/effects on other models. As it stands, this titan has not long come out of a refit and having just completed "battle assessment" trials, it's picked up a little dust and soot here and there.

The base also needs a lot of work to finish it off.

Anyway, here are some shots.

As always, feedback and comments are welcome. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Awesome job on the heat scarring on the weapons and even on the power cables on the plasma cannon!  Your first steps in weathering the metallics are subtle, but successful.  Love the metallics you've chosen, and you've executed them well.

I bet you'll take care of it later, but, wow, those transfers look really stark against the paint (even though there's no ghost edge on them).  That's where your weathering will really help out, to make them look like they an integral part of the scheme.

Can't wait to see this progress!

Hawt dayum.

That's the first Warlord I've seen with the Lucius-pattern head. It looks glorious. In fact, the whole thing looks glorious. Great work!

Thank you.

Thanks for the comments. I know what you mean about the transfers but hopefully future weathering and battle damage may help them "blend" in. Mind you, it took a lot of thralls to power wash the titan after the refit so it's only fair the Princeps tries to keep it clean for a little while...
