It seems pretty nasty on paper and contains more heavyweight AV units than most lists can deal with. Competitive, but not impossible to beat. HQ Legion Praetor (155) + paragon blade, refractor field, digital lasers, volkite serpenta Elites 10 Cataphractii terminators (385) + TLC, chainfist, plasma blaster, reaper autocannon, single lightning lighting claw, 7 power axes + Spartan Tank DT (360) - Flare shield, auxiliary drive 3 Cortus-Contemptor dreadnoughts (435) + 1 extra armor, 2 fists + 1 extra armor, 2 fists + 1 extra armor, 2 fists Troops 10 Tactical marines (165) + extra ccws, Sgt. w/AA/calibanite blade + rhino (35) 10 Tactical marines (165) + extra ccws, Sgt. w/AA/calibanite blade + rhino (35) 5 Tactical support marines (200) + 5 plasma repeaters Heavy Support Land Raider Achilles-Alpha (300) + shatter/frag shells, volkite culverin 2 Vindicators (260) + 2 laser destroyer arrays The repeater marines ride in the Achilles Alpha to get close and dirty, but I'm debating swapping the culverins for multi-meltas since the tank will be in the enemy's deployment zone anyway. Terminators ride in the spartan and rush up the middle alongside the 3 cortus contemptors, who will be using their overdrives to get the extra movement speed. The Vindies hang back with BS5 triple las destroyer shots to melt any MEHTAL BAWKSES. Tactical marines scoot around to capture objectives and utilize legion benefits. Nightmare84 Posted September 29, 2016 Share Posted September 29, 2016 looks fun. but doesnt look to be making full use of the RoW. you want squadron vehicles to get the +1 BS yet the only squadron you have is twin linked so the bs5 isnt really helping that much. cheap as chips predator with bolters makes awesome use of this Terminators, whille cheaper with axes. if you are striking last i find its just bettter to go with the fist option. atleast it IDs HQ and legion specific termies Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
