To be completely honest I have been working on this project for almost 1,5 year now. Painting red is not an easy task as it is far more time consuming than any other colour (except maybe yellow). Your weathering on the landraider looks like something out of a forgeworld book AFTER all the photo shopped stuff, but you did it with paint.It'd take me 10 years to paint to this standard, most of that time spent learning paint-fu from some bald but moustachio-d master who would beat me with a painting brush every day for not progressing enough. I've been here on B&C from 2009 and I have always had a great response from you guys. B&C community is one of the best - dedicated and passionate people who share the same passion and it is always a pleasure to return here ! @LutherMax - bases are ineed made from cork with additon of gravel and sand; I checked your army - love the darkened look Keep up that excellent work @Zeller - I used FW shoulderpads as they are more detailed and imo better than the plastic ones. @Father Mapple - never give up - practise all the time. GW publishes great videos on how to paint - the are very helpful and you can achieve nice effects using simple methods - check them out on their YT channel. @Sans Mercy - yes it is freehand. I do not use transfers - all badges/markings/mural are freehandedly painted. @eggroll - thank you Your beautiful Blood angles were an inspiration for me. I remember when I first saw your army few years ago and how I was (and still am) blown away by them ! Death Company marines are in the middle of painting (first five marines) so expect pictures soon... .......Who said that red colour is difficult to paint ? Me ? Naaahhh ,black is even harder ! ...
