Okay, the Forgelord and battle automaton are absolutely crazy -- that's a fantastic use of the Irongutz halberd right there! And those bone trinkets bolted to the machine's armour! And those freehands! Nuts! :)

As for Tyberos, I have to admit he doesn't feel quite as perfect as your other models: The choice of bits is excellent, certainly, but where the official Tyberos' pose embodies sheer rage and dynamism, your version seems...hesitant, somehow? Like he's carefully making his way across a slippery surface. And I'd really try to source an Mk. V helmet for him, to bring the head closer to the official version. On the other hand, I am pretty sure that the finished model is going to blow us away yet again, so yeah... ;)

Wow all the tribal patterns and scratches on the armor look brilliant! The blue blade looks particularly impressive.

Thanks man !

Wow, dude. Your stuff really is next level. I wish I could paint like that!

Rocket and Groot look fantastic together. Are you running Groot as a Contemptor Dreadnought?

Thanks a lot dude ! Yeah I was thinking running groot as a contemptor dreadnought for the rules are really close to those of the Iron circle . I'll just not allow him to go too far from his father

Malchy.... shoo wee... Groot is incredible! So much detail and awesomeness!!! Your paintjob is top notch and I love the stark white of his face... wanted to say something about weathering there but it looks kind of serene and relaxed in a 'Imma chop u inta lil bits'

Wow... Just Wow...

He looks awesome Malchy :smile.:. I really love how much effort and little details you put into each and every model making them truly unique! Fantastic work as always

Nemac

Awesome!

'groot and rocket' look ace together a beautiful paint job on both.

Thanks all of you for all the kind words ! It's always motivating to see that you like my work :smile.:

Tyberos in his college days.

Haha ! It was the Idea indeed ^^

All of this is absolutely stunning. I'm incredibly jealous of your freehand. Do you sketch it out first or just go straight in with the paint?

Dragonlover

Thanks man ! Nop I go straight in with the paint :smile.:

Thanks Kraut !! I think you're right about the positioning I 'm not sure to have landed where I wanted with it. I wanted to make the impression that he was running just through his enemy like a relentless tide. The red wake in fact ^^.. (like Wolverin in a sprint, his claw just X slashed what was in front of him a second later)  Maybe I should work again on the position on the base.. Till now I was picturing some blood stain that enforce the "running red wake impression". For the helmet I'm still wondering because it is the only thing I love in the original model but I really wanted to make "MY" version of Tyberos since I really don't like the original armour and (power rangers dancing) pose :/ .. Not convinced by the "sheer rage and dynamism". But It's really subjective..

I will repost some WIP later and see what you think of it

I think the main problem with the pose is in the legs: He looks like he's carefully tip-toeing around -- it's probably that the legs are not spaced wide enough apart, and his overall stance seems too narrow. I'd say if you tweak that part, the pose should come together naturally!

I've work on the leg and base of Tyberos as you advised Kraut !

I think that I've get the impression that I wanted (the red wake stuff) but what do you guys think of it ? Better ? :)

The running pose is definitely an improvement! If you ask me, he's almost there! Now while I realise that you probably consciously decided to put the hands parallel to one another, I'd personally rotate his left fist by about 45 degrees (so the underslung chainblade is pointing straight down). It feels like that would actually support the running pose. I also can't shake the feeling that the fists would look better if they were closed, but that might be too much work to be really worth it.

But in any case, he's coming along swimmingly now, and you are definitely putting your own stamp on the character!

In which Chapter's colors will you paint the dismembered corpse at Tyberos' feet? Astral Claws? Lamenters? Mantis Warriors? Alpha or Black Legion traitors?

I like to paint the dead bodys on the base of my Carcharodons in red because it matches withe Both the Exorcist chapter and the Word bearers. The Word Bearers because I can't put ultra marines or Dark angels :p and the Exorcist because I love the story of the Corcyran massacre where Both chapter came to hand for an unknown reason and nobody survive the battle ^^.

@Kraut : Thanks ! Glade that you find it better ! I think I'm gonna go with it without other modification and let the painting do the rest ;)

I see what you mean by rotating the fist for a sprinting pose but I'vé strugle to obtain a complet view of one of his Weapon when looked on front. Otherwise when you look at him in front view you only see two Lightning Claws.. Idealy I would have also close the fist but I don't have enaugh skills to do so ^^. Anyway thanks for the advices and I hope you'll enjoy the painted version ! ( ps : the head is magnetised and I've put my hand on tyberos real helmet so that I could head swap him as it's the best :) )

The only change I'd make is to close the fists for a more aggressive pose but If you don't happen to have fists already closed I can appreciate your answer to Kraut. Painted up he'll look ace and someone is in for a power fist/claw/chainfist slapping.

That white-blue is magical.

To answer your question: I hate the model. The pose to me comes across as horrible and utterly unrealistic - what the hell is he doing? His lower back is arched, his shoulders hunched, and his left arm back when his right foot is up. I've tried to come up with a reason for that pose a couple times (having done several martial arts, I'm a stickler for pose and balance in a miniature. I always try to mimic them physically myself, and figure out what's going on). And I just cannot fathom any kind of scenario or combat move where that pose is even for a millisecond possible or advantageous - I can't figure it out. I know what the sculptor intended, but imo he failed horribly. Also, his arms are 25% too short. So yeah...  But your lovely paint job makes all those shortcomings almost fade away! :)
