Yes, I had to shave and file down most of the ball joints or else they would've looked like the Michelin man :D That said, there's still a bit of a gap on the back that I intend to cover up with dangley shiny bits. I wasn't 100% sure about the red bolter cases to begin with, but en mass they look really sharp and add the contrast the black scheme needs.
